Race Logic Traction Control who as it fitted?
Wise words my friend. I've got the digital version and you can (via the software) turn the little green led into programmable gear change indicator. Which is nice..

They kind of are the same thing. You might be happy with some scrote being able to get into your zed without the keys, but I'm not. That's why I edited your post.

My first time...
Should try fishing at my local lake mate, it used to have a real rat problem. Sorted now but you still get the occasional bugger trying to nick your bait. There not scared of humans either.

Tappets, how hard/easy to replace?
I've not really tried anything yet mate, I changed the oil for magnatec 10w/40 when I put the engine in, the car hasn't been on the road for 3 years. I'm thinking that a good run will sort it (fingers crossed)

Tappets, how hard/easy to replace?
Just changed the cam belt and plenum gasket.. Should have done the bloody things when the engine was out. Just didn't think about it at the time.. Other than being a bit noisy will/can it cause any damage to the engine? My old Vectra GSi had noisy lifters but I didn't mind that so much cos it hid the noise of the blowing rear manifold...

Tappets, how hard/easy to replace?
Started my car up today to move it for the winter. Car runs fine but is very tappety. Since the engine came out of my old jdm and hasn't been run for any length of time since jan 2009, I kind of expected it to be like this. I feel pretty confident that once she's got a couple of hundred miles done the noise will reduce a lot. However if it doesn't. How hard is it to change the lifters? Can it be done in the car or would I need to pull the engine. What's involved? I'm assuming plenum off, rocker covers off etc. I've never done any internal engine work but I'm fairly handy with the spanners. Engine runs lovely (fair bit of white exhaust smelling smoke, which I expected) but is really loud with the lifters. It sounds like there's a hundred of them horrible monkey things with the symbols banging together..lol

Ok might have a problem with the turbos I have!
The difference is all internal I'm afraid mate.

Groover had explained to you the reason behind our stand on this. The only reason I went public was because you were continually asking what you had done wrong on the open forum, when you knew full well why. As for not looking into the facts, well what facts?? All we have is your word. When I said that the the zed in your avatar was used in a breaking thread and then deleted yesterday, I was referring to ebay NOT the forum as I suspect you know as you are the only person that can archive your sale in your ebay page. I have not taken it into my own hands to put untrue facts about you publicly on the forum.

Why did you use the pic of your shorty in a breaking thread that you have now deleted. If you are keeping it?

I can assure all members that we do not treat some members differently to others. Everybody in the club has agreed to the rules that we have all accepted as part of our membership. And EVERYBODY (mods, committee and members) abide by these rules. Dkboro121 please do not use this thread for your own agenda. You have been told via PM why the club considers you as back door trading. Let's just say that calling yourself "jap-cars-north-east" on ebay and the zed in your avatar also being broken plus the silver TT and now the red one. Doesn't make you look like a typical member. Yes you have participated in discussions on the forum but the majority of your threads concern selling items. If you have spoken to our TLO then you know the reasons behind the clubs decision
