  1. Have you given him a ring mate? I had to when I got mine, he's very helpful. Failing that all I can think of is either MJP or a doner zed from one of our breakers.
  2. What about fake leather or vinyl? You wouldn't need much and you could use the old one to make a template.
  3. What about something like this, if your struggling for room? http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?172606-Handy-piece-of-kit&highlight=tool
  4. Agreed, that's a great price for a vert.
  5. There's a lot of shilling going on on ebay :(
  6. Vijay; This is what I've got mate ( sorry I got a couple of bits wrong, it's 24v not 18 and it's an impact wrench not a torque..oops..) http://www.machinemart.co.uk/shop/product/details/clarke-cir450-24v-high-torque-cordless-impact Mine was cheaper than that though and came with impact sockets as well. I've had it a few years now so they have probably upgraded it.
  7. I've got a 24v Impact wrench that I find very useful for all sorts of stuff. It's great for doing up nuts that are hard to get at. Once done up then it's a lot easier to just torque them up with a normal TW. Due to the lower power it has compared to an air one and it's speed controllable via the trigger switch, it can be used safely on all sorts of jobs. A smaller hand held one would be great for fast removal etc..
  8. A leak and you have a boot full of fuel...;)
  9. Welcome back Si :thumbup1:

  12. Have a read of this mate, it may help; http://s95014253.onlinehome.us/63104/157335.html
  13. I would remove the mph convertor and see if your speedo problems go away. Your idle could be down to a faulty or blocked IACV and or incorrrect TPS/idle adjustment, does the car idle around 750rpm once up to temp?
  14. Looking good mate :thumbup1: ps. You can sell your old one know since your subbed ;)
  15. The COTM Poll for October is now open. Get voting :) http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?173202-COTM-October-2013-Poll
  16. I'm making a huge pot of my family's Winter veggie soup. Should keep us going for a while :) For tea I'm making Macaroni Cheese with tandoori chicken strips. Don't know if it'll work yet but I'm thinking it will. :D:
  17. Such a shame that, Paul loved his zed :(

  19. Nice one mate :thumbup1: You'll have to do the Gru one next year mate. That would be hilarious..:)
  20. A quote is a quote mate. The garage has to carry out all the work detailed in the quote for the price stated :)
  21. Pretty sure that Jeff knows the correct pricing for the work, he has been doing it a while now :)
