No mate, not true. it was the vec A that was sh1te. Mines a '98 and the only differences between that and a facelift was a few cosmetic changes. The 2.5v6 engine is the same.

Do they do a quad pipe mongoose?

Just got my zed back today so could finally give it a good drive around :cool::hyper: On the down side, the car is far to noisy for my liking. At the moment it's got what looks like a K+N cone on the front and large single bore twin exhausts. The exhaust isn't rattling or anything its just bloody loud! Is there a quieter cone filter than a K+N? Also what exhaust back boxes would people recommend? It needs to be SS and I would prefer a quad over twin. Failing that, is there anything I can do to quieten the existing set up down? Cheers Dave

I've got a Vec GSi v6 and I have to say it's been the most reliable car i've ever had. Get the problem looked at mate as the v6's can go on for ever.

NOD32 is the best AV there is, I've used it for years and won't even consider anything else. My mate had mcafee, and I told him to get nod when his licence expired, he did and it found 22 viruses on his PC that mcafee had missed!

Great :eek: didn't know that! Is there anyway to tell which you've got? My zed's an auto but it's got a recon jap engine in it as the original blew.

are the turbos on a manual different from auto's then? I thought they were the same.

the text in the add says the fit the Z31 300ZX from 85 - 89.
