  1. Have a search on the speedo mate, there is loads of threads discussing it. It is quite possible that the speedo is reading in mph but the odometer is in km. As for the damage, well... wow, I have never seen that before. Is the metal split? If not and it's just the paint/filler thats lifted, then you will need to bring it back to bare metal and respray. I hate to say this but who ever repaired that in the past has made a right arse of it! They haven't even removed or masked off the rubbers.
  2. Ah, right. Cheers for that . I've only ever seen the UK ones. I'd thought the only difference was the width.
  3. Looking good mate :) Funki, how can you tell it's UK wheels? Not doubting you, just don't know how you know! If you know what I mean :D
  4. Not much, you can fit your head in the wheel arches with the wheels on! lol
  5. you can guess how much my breaker weighs if you want :D
  6. Do the rest of the crew have to hang on to the spoiler?
  7. A ground loop isolator (ebay) should get rid of any interference.
  8. As a Registered user, your not allowed to sell on the site I'm afraid. It's well worth subscribing. As for the plenum gasket. Have a look in the Traders section and ask Mike at MJP, he'll sort you out.
  9. Cheers Jeff, I'll get mine done now
  10. Is this a relatively easy job Jeff?
  11. Not sure about the doors, but the boot one is part of the barrel. Replaced mine today.
  12. Good job there Jeff. I've also noticed that a cracked scuttle or the gap in the rubber at the end of the scuttle allows water in which then drips onto the batt tray. Fixed mine in much the same way, thankfully I only had some surface rust, so didn't need a replacement.
  13. Thats the nearside mate (or n/s), called that due to it being nearest the curb. Drivers side is called offside (o/s) If you use that term, you will always get the right side (only works in rhd cars tho')
  14. Bugger! I'm sky+ both Eureka and Knight rider so can't watch!
  15. If the headkicking don't work mate, you could try steam. Put a little bit of olbas oil in a bowl, pour in boiling water and inhale the steam. Won't cure it but will give you some relief. Sounds like the eye snot is just because you're bunged up, should clear in a few days.
  16. Yeah, plastidip is what you want mate, get a tin of the primer as well and finish with a couple of coats of satin lacquer. They'll look like new again.
  17. Should that not have failed on the MOT?
  18. I'd like to know the answer to this too. I've got a sucking sound coming from the same area, was thinking it was the aiv's. Doesn't sound like water tho'.
