God I love my zed!!
My zed has been sitting in on my drive in all weather conditions uncovered and untouched for the last 4 months and hasn;t moved since feb last year, while I've been working on stuff like refurbing a rear subframe brakes etc all ready to get put on it. Anyway, I decided to have a look inside and see if she was ok. Was a little bit worried on what I would find but after a bit of wd40 in the drivers door I finally got in only to find that it's completely bone dry :thumbup1: not a hint of any water or damp getting in.. I decided to turn her over and it started first time! only to cut out straight away. A quick look in the engine bay reminded me that the apexi was wrapped in two carrier bags and the AFM wasn't plugged in :innocent: oops. Took the bags off and plugged the afm in and with only 9v left in the battery I turned the key and.... started first time! all gauges reading correctly and the volt gauge jumped up to 14  I reversed the car a little bit further up the drive and even the brakes weren't sticking. The only thing I had done before leaving it for so long was disconnect the neg lead from the battery. Can't say how chuffed I am with her, I've now fully rediscovered my passion for zeds :punk::punk:

- daily driver - what to go for?
Yeah, the Vectra takes a lot of stick. I've had one for 5 years and it's never missed a beat, it is a 2.5v6 GSi Saloon with a top speed of 149 and 0-60 of 7.6s (book speeds) which while not super fast is still pretty quick. It also has a full Recaro interior including electric seats. On a long run it gives me 34-36 mpg and only drops to around 28 if you boot it. I've changed all the oem bushes to powerflex poly ones and with the Koni adjustable front suspension it really sticks to the road. Stopping is provided by 330mm 4pot AP racing brakes, which stop you quicker than the speedo can register! All in all it's been the best car I've ever owned.- Stargate Universe
Back on Sky1 tonight after it's xmas break. Plus Battlestar Galactica:Razor is on after it.- braided front brake lines
Thanks Dan, The HEL ones have female connectors  should have looked into it more when I got them as yours sound much better :detective:- New Baby.
congratulations mate :duffer:- Wootten Bassett Islam March
The tory's have called for that group to be banned. I certainly wouldn't complain, they could also deport the lot of them..- very random question
I used a sweeping brush to get it off my estate! lol - daily driver - what to go for?
