Anyone with a z centre triple gauge dash mount?
Cheers mate, I'll get some tomorrow. Was wondering how I'd get access to the mount once it was stuck down  Didn't think about double sided tape..lol

Day 1, Auto-manual conversion :-D
You're cracking on well with that job mate. Took me a week just to get the balls up to undo the bolts on the bell housing.. lol Did the box come out with the filler tube still attached? I struggled for ages until I undid it from the box...

What did you use to stick it down on the dash? Luke suggested I use black mastik but I can't find it anywhere.

Newcomer with a question :)
Welcome matey :) Since this is your first car I would strongly recommend that you don't turn turn up the boost until you have got used to how the zed handles. There's a big difference in 9psi (standard) to 14! That said the extra boost won't hurt the turbos. "Chipping" the ecu does not in itself create extra boost, what it does do is change the fuel mapping to let the car take advantage of extra boost. To increase boost you need to use boost jets or a boost controller. Standard "stage 1" upgrades are catback exhaust, cone filter, boost jets/controller and a ecu remap "chip". Chances are you've already got these installed. Put some photos up.

Conzult and windows 7
Is any one running Conzult on Windows 7? I'm thinking about getting a new laptop which will have win7 on it, but I need to know if Conzult will still work as this is the main reason for the laptop. I've got the usb convertor so connecting it isn't a problem. Cheers Dave

Door lock mechanism
Once you get the door card off you can get at the mechanism, its a pretty straight forward job to change the barrel over, however it may just need lubricating.

The driftworks kit is better as it eliminates the inner+outer ball joints, which can fail. It's also been said that its provides a tighter fit and less movement than the lockout bars do. However you do pay more for this. That said there is nothing wrong with the standard lockout bars and they both "do the same job". It's entirely up to you which you choose. I've got the powertrix lockout bar, but they all seem much of a muchness. Hope this helps.

Best to have a quick look yourself, the ps lines run down passenger side of the car and are a good deal thicker than the brake lines. If you're loosing fluid it must be leaking from somewhere though as it doesn't burn off etc.. like oil can. You're a fair bit away from him but JeffTT at zedworld would be able to sort it for you.

Have a look here mate; http://www.z1motorsports.com/imageGallery/view_album.php?set_albumName=album248&page=1 Should tell you all you need to know. One thing, has your garage confused the ps lines with the brakes? These are notorious for rusting at the rear. The PS lines are much thicker than these as well.
