First off, check your fluid level and try a bleed. To bleed, take the lid of the PS pot start the car and turn the steering lock to lock a few times. If after this it's still the same your pump may be on it's way out or a solenoid problem. HTH

I use Firefox as my browser, it's good but can take an age when first firing up. For AV I use Eset NOD4 it's the best there is, end of.. I also use Ad aware and spybot for adware etc...

The problem with the s1 PTU was that it would overheat and cause the car to run very poorly or cut out completely. You then had to wait for it to cool down before the car would start/run again.

I think you would need to get an after market alarm fitted to do what you want. As I said though the solenoid in the drivers door controls the central locking, it won't unlock the boot though.
