  1. I can do the first bit mate. lol. Can I get to the feeds with engine in? (bloody hope so :scared:) EDIT: To slow. Marty, The turbo's were already on the engine that I've just sorted. Vods, Sounds like a plan.
  2. Right just got my engine sorted but have been told to prime the turbo's oil feed before doing anything else. What's the best way to do this? I don't want to blow the tubs up :)
  3. It seems to be a bit of pot luck if those decats fit or not. I think the issue is with the oil pan on the autobox being a bit wide for them. That said, if they don't fit you can always adjust them :hammer:

  7. Try phoning around mate, I've always found cheaper insurance by doing that.
  8. Still got a lot to do mate, including a full body work prep and respray. I'm now aiming for next summer realisticley :sad:

  10. lol. Was hopeing to get across mate but my vectra went in for a tracking job two days ago and i'm still waiting :huh: Can't really moan as they are doing it for free.   11. lol. Best advice I can give is ; Get stuck in and don't be scared. I just used the manual and advice from here to help me learn, both have been invaluble.
  12. I don't really have hero's as such but I would like to speak to the following; 1. My Grandad, he died before I was born and I really wish i'd met him. 2. The Undertaker (Wrestler) I'd like him to teach me how to wrestle. lol 3. Jeff TT. I'd like to know how he first got in to zeds.

  14. Finally after 2 years of work I managed to actually turn the key and see if my engine transplant worked. And........... she started in the time it took the fuel to run from the tank to the injectors :clap:. There was no farting, spluttering clonking tapping and more importantly no dodgy fumes coming out of the exhaust :thumbup: Still have a lot of work to do but I am so chuffed right now. The engine last ran when i went headfirst into a crashbarrier in my old jdm 2 years ago. It's been sat for a year and a half outside under a tarp, before I gave it a service and cam belt change. And to think, before I got my zed's I couldn't even change the oil in a car. It's been a slow process as I've had to learn to do so much but It's been great fun and seeing and hearing it running was a massive joy.
