  19. Welcome to the club matey :) If your not keen on auto's then I would avoid them and go for the manual. It's not fair to say that the autobox is a weak point but as they are getting on for twenty years old, they can give up the ghost. The manual box does seem to be much stronger but can still suffer from synchro problems. As for carping; Yes you'll get your rods in but you haven't got a hope in hell of getting all the other stuff in like bivvy, barrow, bait bags etc. Saying that if you use the fox box you could probably get that in :lol: I bought an estate for my carp sessions and that does the job.
  20. I wouldn't worry about that any more. All the early zeds will have either died or had the compression issues sorted out by now. You could always ask him if he would do a compression check. Also, there are a few big lads with swb zeds and I haven't heard any complaints about them not being able to fit. So again you'll be fine. :)
