  1. Looking into other ways on improving performance other than mega money engine work. Nice bpu engine, but due to the weight reduction it could keep up with bigger power stuff. Just thinking at the mo, when i had the supra i wanted to carbon as much as poss but to retain the standard look and toys inside, thinking along those lines again. God i want it all!
  2. Bimey, not worth doing then. Stick to producing more power then lol.
  3. Who does these parts, whats the weight save, price etc
  4. Are there replacement panels which are carbon or other light material? If so what body parts can be replaced? What sort of saving would you get in kg? Damien
  5. Second that, but looking at the pics it looks very nice. Hope it works out for mate.
  6. Can be reliable around 200 bhp mark. Mine was 280 and was off the road more than on lol. When at 200-215 odd i had no trouble with engine, only clutch once a year.
  7. Forgot the roof comes off. Thats got to be the clincher now
  8. Great car, loads of tuning gear for them (that why its the better engine IMO) and can be made reliable with correct mods. GT tuning for one can sort a sorted engine. I loved my 5. R 21 turbo looks total crap, go for the Zed fella.:hyper:
  9. XR2I R5 GTT Mk1 Golf GTI Merc 190 Cossie Toyota Supra Merc c32 300zx
  10. 1. Not much power to be gained. 2. The r5 engine is better 3. Good car but look like a boat 4. Look great, i would say save around 3 grand for a nice one. You will horror stories on here about the zed, but a well serviced one will be reliable. Zeds are pure class
  11. Not the right advice now is it:nono:. Rebuilt engine with performance internals will do the job. Dont know how a standard engine would measure up, i know i wouldnt want to try for 600bhp on standard internals. Jimmer is the lad for advice on this subject.
  12. Thats a good idea but really want the stock look. But i suppose if the spacer is not to big it will look fine. Good stuff
  13. I bet you are going make tamworth a saved item on the sat nav now. Glad your pleased, top people there. Good to see that the car is running a lot better, nice one.
  14. looks good mate, cannot find those speakers any where. What depth are they or will any brang 6x9 do? Thanks again
  15. What brand and model are your 6x9s mate. Any good?
  16. I see your point. Thanks for posting the pics they help loads.
  17. Ok, i shall check out that size. What ones would you recommend mate. Dont want tweeters on show though as i want it to look stock. My car has that nissan acustic zoom what ever that is (are those tweeters)?
  18. What brand would you guys recommend for clear, crisp, bass sound and good price.
