  1. Z stays in the garage ! My bike is also in there though. However, if space were tighter then the bike would be indoors and the Z in the garage !
  2. Well I work in Harlow, so that's pretty close to most of those.
  3. yeah, I think I just caught the end of the Bravenet bit, never actually posted on it though as it seemed to come and go depending on the weather ! ;)
  4. Yeah, I sold a Cobalt Qube 2 and some geezer paid £270 for it - he must've needed one really badly - right NOW !!!
  5. Not looked at a UK light, but on a Jap spec one I think there is enough room to squeeze a couple of little bags of silica gel through the hole in the back and down between the back of the reflector and the casing. Worth a look anyway.
  6. I just re-set my odometer to the correct number to represent the number of miles already covered.

Could also be the propshaft centre bearing
  8. Agreed - without ! Can you also make the bonnet fit properly ? ;)
  9. Yeah, I used cheapo gaitors too. The problem is far more likely to be the bushes on the anti-roll bars though.
  10. Trust me I am no expert on this, but as far as I know the self learning mode does not work with dual solenoid/turbos - you have to do it manually. It's a shame because I installed one of these in an MR2 Turbo and it was an absolute breeze with the automated features.
  11. Yeah, but 9/10ths of it is shitty light bulbs, toy cars, scale models and associated junk !
  12. There must be a load of dead PTU's around and it's only a 5 minute job to change one.
  13. Allegedly, the wheel design is supposed to help with cooling the brakes and preventing disc warpage. Anyway, like people said, performance tyres are normally directional, so swapping sides may put the tyres the wrong way around .... It is actually REALLY easy to tell whether the wheels are on the right way - the castings have L or R on them adjacent to the part number.
  14. It looks 'kin awful ! And the wheel police will be after you :-
  15. Yeah - like when hell freezes over !!!!! LOL ;)
  16. I reckon the accidental fitting of a faulty PTU should do the trick ! ;)
  17. Me too and I have already cleaned the idle valve and the electrical connections and reset the ECU and reset the idle, but it's still being a pain intermittently when cold. Incidentally, tickover should be approx 700rpm anyway. Referring to these may be useful :- http://www.z-car.net/ http://home.swipnet.se/e-solutions/IdleTech.html http://home.swipnet.se/e-solutions/IdleTech2.html
  18. You ought to be able to just weigh them on the kitchen scales and work out the postage from here :- http://www.royalmail.com
  19. Actually, it is. The BSCV's are not enabled until the water temp reaches 60 deg C. Until that point it's effectively in 'safety boost'. Of course this doesn't matter because nobody thrashes their car until it's warmed up, right ?
  20. I don't mind the sides too much, but the front is HORRIBLE !
