  1. If you search on "Craig Nico History" you will find lots of info about this. And if you look REALLY hard at somewhere like this http://www.nick2.demon.co.uk/menu.htm you will find the remnants of a long dead civilisation in a place far, far away etc ...
  2. In this forum under "Misc Club Payment Methods"
  3. Only for a couple more days though ... just getting the 350Z rear calipers installed.
  4. Well I guess if you had no turbos that could happen.
  5. Well I'm not sure about the glass bit, but if people were in agreement about matching the collection then we could do that. In the past we've never added more than the cost of the Paypal fees or a bunch of flowers etc.
  6. I find that oil does go black very quickly (nothing like the filthy muck that comes out of my diesel though!!!). Unless you used a flushing oil then there is inevitably some of the old stuff still in there after a change, that will make for a rapid discolouration. Anyway, dirty oil means it's doing it's job, cleaning the engine and holding the carbon deposits etc in suspension. Change it again and use an intermediate flushing oil if you're really bothered - I don't think I would be. Most of us change our oil far too frequently anyway.
  7. OK, no probs I can check it over on the ConZult before making any changes with chips etc.
  8. Yep, I can help you there. 350Z brakes also fit easily on the front, slightly less so on the rears.
  9. Yeah, Paypal always take their cut, but for collections we always make up the difference from Club funds, so people actually donate what they expect.
  10. As promised. Not sure what we will do with what we collect yet, will depend on what the family and Zena want. So please send your donations in the usual way and please ensure you use a reference of "Jaypsc collection" http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=82551 Thanks
  11. Do you have a picture of it ? If the scratch has raised the surface at all then it's no good. If it's just a scratch then it could break the oil film and then can't be much good for it either. I'm sure it can be repaired by metal spraying and regrinding. Many places can do that sort of thing, but these people are generally accepted as being good. http://www.thurstonengineering.co.uk
  12. OK, guess we can let you off on that then ! ;)

First one I bothered to watch this year, was disappointed that Hamilton didn't win though. It's almost like we expect him to .... lol
  14. Lol, went to collect Karen's 70+ year old Mum from from hospital once and she was upset when I arrived in the Xantia rather than the Z.
  15. I would do two things, firstly clean up the discs to ensure there is no glaze on them. I have a grit blaster, but if you're enthusiastic then then wire brush and glasspaper will achieve the same thing. Secondly, I would double check that you have the metal shims behind the pads and you have a smear of Copperslip in there.
  16. I'll have a look when I get home.
  17. Bloody hell. Dunno what to say. I will arrange a collection, lets just give it a day or so to find out what his family want.
  18. Each month I will post a summary from the accounts package. To start with here are the monthly reports for this year.
  19. You were activated, I think that when I refunded the extra £5 it must have deactivated you ....
  20. Yeah, moved on at last now, my only trouble with the drive shaft now will be putting it all back together (hopefully) !
  21. Bah, never mind. Still at least I feel I'm making some progress at last ...
  22. Couldn't bear to read the ad - typeface was too large ....
  23. Well you never know ...
