:confused: took my centre panel off today to remove the jap stereo and replace it with my sony. more cable than john holmes. does anyone know if there is an adaptor to fit jap stereo connectors (car side) to the uk connectors (stereo side). and if there is, will the electric aerial still work? think i just found my new desktop wallpaper

had to change my rev couner the other day because of that problem. if you get a pair of long nosed pliers you can hole the needle shaft and gently pop off the needle itself. the guy who'd previously changed my dial faces didn't do this so the rev counter used to stick. this tip was from luke at z centre. i also found that the ignition had to be on to set the needles up. hope this helps. you would hope you can GET AWAY WITH Y rated tyres. W rated upto 168mph Y rated upto 186mph so most zeds should be fine with either of these hope this helps jase

had a chat to baggins today. he's deactivated his. to do it pop the bonnet and have a look at the hicas unit you will see a small redish /brown connector separate this connector when you separate it you will have 1 part towards the front of the car the other towards the rear. simply connect a loop of wire across the two pins in the forward part. the hicas is now disabled. any problems find baggins on here and give him a shout. i'm sure he'd help you out i'll be doing this tomorrow, so if i can do it anyone can (i'm an electrics FW)

:D i'd like to say a big thanks to luke at z centre. got the new rev counter(which he sent foc). everything works fine now. it's customer service like this that makes people repeat customers. i'll deffo be using z centre again. thanks again mate. a top bloke and a usefull font of knowledge too. :dance:
