  1. I think I might have found what the problem is. Just checked the disks after driving home and the passenger side front disk is warmer (hot cannot touch) than the rival. I could touch the driver side disks and they are not that warm.
  2. nope, haven't heard anything like that. breaks fine without any noises but when you stop and break you hear that piston expanding kind of sound mildly. I guess when you are driving you can't hear it because of the engine :)
  3. I get fitted an Toad AI606 last tuesday I'm sooooooo happy with it. Doesn't get in your way, its simple as using a remote lock/unlock. mario recommended it for me. Thanks again bud... the guy was fantastic. Full of knowledge on what he's doing.
  4. My diagnostics, break fluid ok (just below the max level), disks pads ok (disks are shiny and pads has life on them), when I push the padel it feels a little spongy and when I press the padel and release I get some sort of a piston expanding kind of a sound. Any ideas? oh btw my zed has been in the garage for about three months.
  5. First of all forgive me if I'm being stupid... I know nothing about the machanics... But how good are the breaks in a stock 95 Jap N/A? I don't feel like that I'm getting pushed forward when I break... I thought this could be because of the seating position in the zed. But this morning I had to break hard and I bearly managed to stop. My beamer has far better breaking power than the zed from what I feel. So being dumb is there anything I can do to test? Or is there anyone around sheffield who is willing to lend a hand this weekend?
  6. Both would have been perfect for me if I lived near by... Any chance of getting a contract and work from distance?
  7. This is no problem, all you need is a voltage regulator like 7812. It will cut out all the high voltages (up to a point) and will protect the circuit.
  8. Yup, the colors are actually good... I used the HTC cam (Ignito) for almost everything. The only downside is when taking pics in the dark...
  9. You need to get a bigger car :D I've got an e34 1990 and almost touched the end of the speedo few times... Good solid car, doens't even feel you are going that fast... The pleasure of luxury cruising  You'll struggle to keep the zed out of the end of the speedo if you know what I mean ;)
  10. I'm suprised mate... mine is just under £900 with 6yrs NCD. And it's for a N/A... who do you insure with?
  11. Definitely... I missed the last meet sadly  but my zed is running now (even though not in the best shape) so I'm up for it...
  12. Sorry mate... had a few things to do... good to hear that u've sorted it... The CD has GPRS Monitor and Sprite backup tool, all about 270 MB. Let me know if you want a copy of the CD. :)
  13. there were few apps.... I'll check it when I get back home and let you know :)
  14. Pics... :headvswal I can't see them... Oh BTW mine is an import.
  15. I've got the apps CD which also has the sprite backup... Do you need the full CD or just that app?
  16. hey Vijay, I can't see any clips bud. All I can see is filler cap to close the screw which holds that plastic kind of piece. Sorry not that techy... I'll try to get a pic :)
  17. I've got one, but that is O2. (XDA Ignito) Which app do you need? Is that the one for monitoring the data usage?
  18. I'm also insured with elephant, they gave me the best quote by £1500 . I had my zed for some time but couldn't get a reasonable insurance until I came accross elephant. If you are going for a UK model try Swift Cover as well. They don't insure imports but damn cheap for UK models. I insured my beemer with them and best quote by £450. Hey stella, you didn't gave me that tip... I couldn've gone cheaper :p Oh BTW, if you want I can help you to get a fresh Jap import (mods, am I breaking any rules??) like mine.
  19. oh BTW didn't knew you were also in sheffield. Where about? I'm around city center (Norfolk Park to be exact) ...
  20. Love it... :hyper: looks amazing
  21. um.... I don't think I was doing 80, my zed didn't allow me to :x: possibly mine was above 4krpm :)
