Thanks for the replies. I have fixed it. I cut the plug off. Gone back to the red terminals for the moment.

Okay thanks. Would either of these cause the problems I seem to be having? It’s just strange how it all started after i knocked the yellow wire out of position Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I was going to change my thermostat the other day but I ended up knocking the yellow wire out of the terminal it was in. I noticed the cooling fan was now running fast. I pushed the yellow wire back in and restarted and the fan was running normal again. I found this vw plug so I soldered the wire together and plugged it on. The fan started running fast again. Drove it for about 10 minutes and it all sorted its self out. Today went out in it revs are at 1500 and won’t settle down. Tap the accelerator the res drop feels like it wants to cut out. I noticed when I got to where I was going I could smell a eggy smell. Switched the engine off and it wouldn’t restart. Left it for about 15 mins and it finally restarted. Managed to get it home the fan was running normal speed. I thought I would disconnect the plug to see if anything happened. Now the fan is running fast and I also damaged the other sensor. I’m also getting a popping from the exhaust like a misfire pop. It’s never done that before. Can anyone tell me what the sensor are and do Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I was looking at hid kits but there is so many I'm not sure on what ones to get. I have a uk model so no fog lights in the front. What ones did you get for your dip beam?

Have not been out in my car at night for a while. I came home from the south coast. I forgot how bad the lights were I need to do something to sort them out. What have you done to yours to make them better?

I still have the standard wheel nuts but I have black wheels so I'm thinking of changing them. Anyone help me out?

Does anyone want to do my water bypass for me? Bit to much of a job for me to do Was thinking of getting the matrix hoses done at the same time.

Need to replace all the coolant hoses on my car. Is there some where I can buy a complete set? I want them all to look the same and be the same colour. One of my hoses gave up Saturday night

That's the one that's gone. Yeah still got all the original hoses.

Picking up a friend to go out for a beer and a ******* waster hose gives up. Now in a different pub drinking waiting for for recovery. At least it's cheaper than a cab.

Where would i find the bleed nipple on my car 1990 G Reg? I've found the one on the slave but I've been told there is one under the bonnet.
