  1. Halfway House *** 3 star rating Halfway House, Church Street, Connah'S Quay, Deeside, Clwyd CH5 4AS Ok Guys, i've been looking in to this, there are a few that from the looks that could acccomadate us on the 09th of December, although as i mentioned prior im swung towards the Halfway House in Deeside (a) as its a central location for us all (well almost) ;) (b) plenty of parking I've been in touch with them anyway and they have priced the xmas dinner at £11.95 per head they all seem to be around the same form the ones i checked so thought i'd throw it to you guys!!, if the price sounds ok with all and that is for three courses then i can obtain some menu's if not i'll make some more enquiries :D let me know Chris
  2. Sorry to hear you are thinking of selling up mate, your zed is a credit to you and one of my fave's in the club, although i must agree the Monaro is one hell of a motor with a very nice spec ! good luck in what you decide mate although i hope you stay with us ;)
  3. Just to say i have tested this today on my Zed and it works fine>>
  4. its a nice/easy mod to do and you link the wire from the el-panel in to your existing wiring, red is the best colour to go for i reckon to keep the plod happy but other colour panels are available if you are considering doing it yourself though you will need to separate the rear panel by heating up the sealant, there are threads on here somewhere, i will certainly be doing it or may just buy one already done :D chris
  5. Welcome and sounds nice, there are a few on here with Z31's any pics? chris

  15. Thanks mate it was fairly good for its year to apart from the lacquer peel on the bonnet, although you cant really see it in those pics, mind you i've been thinking of something retro of late to replace the mk4 fiesta just undecided as to waht yet :/
  16. Great pics jeff love the mk1 gt and you can certainly see from that pic what american car the capri got allot of influence from i do like the mk3 though as use to see them out and about in my early years (fire engine pushing years) lol here was mine it was not so bad just needed to be finished off and the bonnet resprayed :/
  17. lol Jeff all ringing home :) i was in the capri club and have been to there HQ a couple of times in the mid's :) nice people (and motors) for that matter, however it was only ever the 1.6 mk3 for me but i did get the 2.0 engine for it and some other bits that gave it a bit more poke, this was all before someone local that it had been passed to wrapped it around a lamp post :no: had an A'reg 280zx though that thankfully still shows on the dvla database :) hell of a car that and use to love seeing peoples faces as the front end lifted on acceleration or pulling away!
  18. Oh yes!! keep me posted there lol, i'll take the 280b though :)
  19. can see pics jeff :) there is also a place by me, more of an adjoining warehouse to a general service garage thing is there is all sorts in there old Volvo's, merc's, opel's and a daimler, when i asked how come all the old cars, i just got owner collects them, shame as all i saw was them all collecting dust with no covers and looking a bit sad :(
  20. i think it is the easier choice and more room to skulk of in to a corner if we want some peace to discuss area stuff :)
