  4. the car park is supposed to be private, but it's shared by about 6, companys and is set around the buildings with a broken barrier and little space in places so makes it about as private as a wc with a busted lock ! there are a couple of other places could park but its then risk of clamping or the car being further away then I’d like lol but im gonna have to have a think on that 1 Thanks for all the comments guys I was hoping for the looks worse than it seems type of reply's I’ll let u all know what I get quoted:)

There's a fair few on e bay u should get away with 3 (52mm 's) in that slot and u can get the holder for the slot from z centre many people have done this so its just down to taste although most people go for digital gauge's for reliability! There was a pic posted when i asked somthin similar see if i can find it 4 ya ;) HTH
  19. I LIKE THOSE ONE'S 2 IM DEBATING GOING FOR THE CRUIZE 135 5 SPOKE FROM DP MOTORSPORT (8.5J, 19 inch,35 OFFSET)
  20. this is the post i was thinkin off mentione's about probs changing to higher gears i noticed u say its fine under normal driving though? may be still of some help but as per the link check colour of fluid etc but does sound like it's in need of some attention or poss on it's way out? http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=117582&highlight=autobox hth

  22. isnt it uk law to display a front plate? surely it would have to have a stick on version on the bonnet maybe? (ps i know it's in the window)
  23. i was quoted 250 by nissan and that was with 10% disc so it's a cheap price but as said i'd certainly want to know where the parts where from etc and how many z's he has worked on i admit i use a local garage (but the head mechanic has worked for nissan and toyota) so he knows is z's v well and i always provide the parts ;)
  24. well im no mechanic but mine is a 91 auto n/a So all i can say is mine works like this- normal from start all lights off, (with eng running) set in a/t mode as normal - (this changes to power mode automaticly when reasonable acceleration applied and goes back to normal a/t upon de-acceleration) power mode - (prolong's gear ratio's slightl'y) hold - (holds in selected gear) just little extra feature's really but handy in certain situations;) i leave mine set in a/t mode prett'y much all the time as per maual and it change's smoothly in each gear ,the manual also state's overdrive mode should be off unless going up or down steep hills etc as it merel'y provides engine braking have u checked the fluid ? for colour or for metal shavings etc there's a usefull post on gear box issues somwhere ill see if i can find it for u hth:D chris
  25. when i read these poorly described type of ads, i picture manwell of faulty towers trying to sell me a car and i wouldnt buy a car from him to say the least  not my taste but am sure some one will but it its certainly erm unique
