The PTU controls the sparks, series 1 are renowneed for failure, and can be obtained cheap enough, most people advise after probs, 2 upgrade to the series 2 as are less prone to fail hth:)

im intreged now lol any pics ? im prob gonna stick with a stock replacement but got 1 or 2 other styles in mind!

sorry to hear ur having trouble bud, but yes definetly sounds PTU related but bad fuel can cause similar probs (but as legrath said would prob still run just not very well:rolleyes:) hope u get it sorted ;)

yep definetly sounds as if it's on it's way soz but u can get a second hand one for a fair price or as uv'e said go the manual route ! mines fine at the min but expecting it sooner rarther than later though !

ur thinkin of the old clover type ! i use 2 have set on my old xr3 , they kind of remind me off the 944 wheels 2 but i like the style anyway lol
