also a dodgy delimitter if fitted will cause the same symptons agree with a couple of others unlikely its the power steering pump, next time it does it also check if the speedo is acting erratically, which will deffo prove its speed related, if you have a delimitter fitted try disconnecting

spray going in your large bumper wont help m8 also the headlight panel openings and the seal round the panel i ended up fitting twin apexis pointing upwards to cure mine and properly sealing the headlight panel

quick update, just for anyone with similar problem/s and keeping an eye on this, just wipped the temp sensor for ecu from hers drove about 30-40 miles so far, and SEEMS ok, but after changing the afm the other day it was ok for 3 days, so nothing proved YET (anyone know if the tt and n/a ptu's are the same??, forgot to look before, and hers is in the garage now, i have changed my ptu, but it was a 2nd hand one, so a small chance it could be suss) also is the tps the same??

back to plan B m8:( done it again tonight, so her car is losing the temp sensor next:( though i had it solved as its been right for 3 days :headvswal

quick update, looks like it WAS the problem m8 took the afm of her n/a, and when i came to swop it to mine i noticed the little metal clip wasnt there, BUT it was taped now i deffo didnt do that, so i reckon when i had my viper wings done the bodyshop lost it and taped it instead, been driving round for 2-3 days now and car hasnt skipped a beat:) she hasnt used hers since i swopped, so it could still be the afm, but i hope it was the silly clip :headvswal

i didn't post after the tragedy last week, mostly as i thought some of the comments were a bit ott, some understandable, but mainly as it was to soon after to have an objective view, seems from the news now that they were suicide bombers, and british born, so blows out of the water those who reckon it was lax imigration to blame, also police have raided house in west yorks' if it's all true, then a big well done to them for acting so quickly, lets not turn this into another THEM post, but hope it gives our security forces clues in how to avoid this again, not sure it can ever be stopped, for the determined but hopefully they will also see THEIR way will never get them ANYTHING

have to agree with a couple of above, WHY did he plead guilty??????????? from what ive read he was blamed for encouraging Mr Hughes to drive faster?? he also had witnesses in his car?? as Scoops says there must have been more than his guilty plea? he deffo can't withdraw the guitly plea, unless he has new evidence or was coerced into making it?? as Mike says the argument whether the fiesta was a match for the nissan is pointless, especially as the fiesta WAS IN FRONT, and i assume he has pleaded guilty to doing 100 on a 40mph road?? i won't attempt to act as judge and jury on the bare facts posted, but also would like to hear what ACTUALLY HAPPENED, at the end of the day 2 have lost their lives and this guys life is ruined by a jail sentence:(

lol just realised the auto choke, its pissing down here at the mo' so no chance im doing it tonight, the fuel is temp controlled isnt it?? as i wondered if it was over fuelling at first, hence the starting ok THEN problem comes in, so will check sensors etc g113emo, only ever use optimax m8, but will check others,;) im wondering since i had my wings done if they've dislodged something as i THINK its only since this? not had chance to do an ecu test yet, but a mate is a mobile tuner etc, and reckons he has all the software for his laptop for the zx, so will ask him:) off out again, so will leave mine at home and go play in her soarer cheers

i start the car every day no problems, i go maybe a mile or two and it will splutter and lose power, i pull over and start it a couple times and its still the same, then suddenly it will fire up and off it will go no problems and run all day, ive changed the ptu, and still the same, so would be great if anyone could point me where to look?? thanks

i see we're not alowed to slate the "great" geldof, but it was ok for him to have digs at the charitys that help 24/7 365 days a year, and who do it for no gain AT ALL, when he decides to sell all he has or donates a major sum, it may make people less cynical, only recently zambia said by britain donating clothes it was undermining their "industry" when i see geldof visit africa more than once every few years:( im old enough to remember the tv clips from '85 and remember doing loads to help, i also remember geldof saying not a penny would stray fron the cause yet millions was spent on administration and wages, ethiopia has changed little apart from the dictators have flourished, very little is known of what happened to the vast amounts raised, every 2 years when comic relief is aired you get a breakdown of what the cash has gone on, i would have more respect for all these "stars" if they donated cash first, time 2nd, even the tsnami tradegy vast amount of celebrities donated cash, footballers are one that spring to mind when a lot of premier league players donated wages, which encouraged more donations lets not forget comic relief was started in 1985, and last year over 17 million was raised by events such as rattling the bucket outside tescos, and over 60 million in total, if THIS live aid actually works better than the last one and the cash goes where its supposed to, then i guess we can see geldof move into buck' house, i hope im wrong but i won't hold me breathe............................

try a programme called svcd2dvd (no it doesn;t just do svcds;) ) takes far far far less time, you have to subscribe to get full version but worth EVERY penny of $10 (or cent lol), it reincodes a 2-3 disc vcd etc in about half hour tops, or a longer programme with all the bells and whistles is canopus procoder, both you can add menus etc http://www.svcd2dvd.com/
