  1. sorry m8 ?? its a 7 day auction just started it aint where it starts........... he seems to have put a reserve on it, so who knows what it is yes if your buying a car with the thought of what your gonna get at the end of owning it, the the zx aint the car you want at the moment my own way of looking at it, i couldnt give a monkeys re the value, i love the car and as long as i do will keep it things could be worse, ie classic cars over the last few years have nose dived ill bet someone owning say a e-type has seen at LEAST 10 grand loss on their "investment" lets not forget we are talking mostly of a car 12-15 years old, but what other STILL looks the dogs as the zx ?? ;)
  2. if i remember rightly just take the fuel cap off m8 once you release the fuel line it wont keep pissing out unless the ignitions on if you don't release the pressure it will come out like your first jump :nelson:

  4. yep was one of the few problems i managed to cure on my own lol used my car for the first time today since before christmas, (been using her soopra but bored with it now lol) and mine is still coughing and spluttering when it feels like, tried all i can think of, but after ringing ryan today feel a bit better he will sort it, when i can get it transported down to him be great if EVERYONE was as helpful and understanding as him;) otherwise a viking funeral would be the next option
  5. my lads got one m8 hooked it up on christmas day to his wireless router EXACTLY the same was as you would a normal xbox BUT managed to get it connected and signal etc was shite kept dropping out as its all in his bedroom i ended up "wiring" it and all was ok, so just on that experience if your thinking of running the 360 in a different room than the router? id be sceptical how good it will be? btw just to add, my lad has his own pipex connection in his room, and the laptop downstairs runs A1 from the wireless connection, not sure if the wireless adaptor for the 360 was the problem, just my lad was that eager to get online, and ive not bothered since lol
  6. sky are VERY close to hdtv probably only be the movie channels at first, but will deffo be going that route plasmas are superb now, first one i ever bought when the first entered the market was a nightmare watching footy etc, (pixelation on grass) but no problems now and can't imagine watching anything else

  14. must admit i like mine in the summer etc and when polished, what colour you going for? or is that a daft question with your other car lol you've probably said loads of times and ive missed, be interesting if your going for a completly different colour how much graft it is?
  15. is yours the gunmetal with silver fleck in it m8? does look nice when washed/polished, just keeping it there lol
  16. I THINK what he is trying to say because you only get book value, is it worth paying fully comp m8;) you have to weigh up the benefits for fully comp in case of what MIGHT happen m8, personally ive always had fully comp and luckily never had to use it, but its there, same as AA/RAC cover the one time you may decide it aint worth it COULD be the time you do as you say after 5-6 month you may have that accident (fingers crossed you don't) and decide glad you had full cover, or 3-4 years of paying full wack think how much you've paid out, best to read the policy m8 and decide do you need ie abc etc
  17. back to your comment m8, just seen on the news a police officer who VOLUNTEERED to go and help tsunami victims, was on a site seeing tour whilst over there on a mini bus, he was tragically killed when it crashed his partner now intends to sue cheshire police   am i missing something???????

  19. yep the dealers bird made me laugh complaining cos their 5 year old daughter had seen it all, she forgot to mention the guy did a runner and left his daughter in the street, he was high on drugs, swearing like a good 'un squeeling like a pig to get his mates to join in:( oh and had enough speed to keep the street going for the month those nasty coppers should be ashamed nicking people like THAT
  20. anyone just finished watching this on bbc1 ? two guys on a bike both had been drinking the police had problems flagging them down on the motorway at 90mph+ because the bike had no mirrors and he was wearing ear plugs the seat wasnt bolted on, no indicators, back tyre was disintergrating back end was wobbling everywhere, brake pipes were loose, no proper electrics, no pads in back caliper etc etc hen when being questioned one of them said the classic "why arn't you catching people who are criminals" wouldn't you be glad to be driving behind these pillors of society :nelson:
  21. btw Iain i have to inform you to expect a letter from my solicitor as i was reading this thread, due to replying i dropped my keyboard on to my cup of tea which then badly burnt me, as i jumped up i dislodged the screen which fell on my foot, as i was hopping about i fell onto the dog, she then took a bite out of me leaving a hole in my named jeans, to be fair i will settle out of court, 20 grand + i was thinking about, im sure i can think of something of yours i would be prepared to take  :nelson: ;)
  22. so does that mean any racist can air his views?? in the guise of free speech? to be honest there's some people thoughts i NEVER want to hear
