I want to run Falkens on 8.5J front and 9.5J rear, and have been recommended the following : 225-40-18 front and 255-35-18 rear This seems far removed from Radron's and ZX-Eyes experience ?

I've got a Z at last :dance: - I'm not posting pikkies yet as I don't pick her up (the Z that is :D) until Sunday. However, it has (the wife that is...errr, no, that's wrong) original Nissans that have been powder coated black. Nasty. SO first thing I want to do is change 'em. Having read all this, my utmost commiserations on the bad job - bl**dy annoying to say the very least ! SO...how about a sticky that has details of GOOD companies and BAD companies. I'm sure there must be others who want a good paint job done (either voluntary of forced).

I'm very interested in buying a Z, and the seller very kindly sent some photos, one of which is the eng comp.. On the nearside suspension strut bulkhead there is a very messy area that appears to be mastic of some sort. Does anyone else have this on their car ? (see pic - sorry about the crude black line, I'm not much of a dab hand with Photoshop :wack:) Thanks
