I love the Vec GSI seats! They are supportive yet comfy at the same time, one of the main reasons i miss my old Vec.

Having all that power through 2 wheels is only as dangerous as you make it. As long as you can control the car in any given circumstance you should be fine.

I think that a overhaul is needed then. New manifolds, exhaust, re-furb turbos, and a good engine fluid flush. Soooo, when funds permit, is there anyone local to bradford/leeds that could potentially want to help??

Without sounding funny, but is that all?? I only say because it'll be getting a new manifold back system before i make it road legal anyways. Is there anyway to refurb the standard ones?? Because i remember that the car had new turbos fitted not too long ago, as it was sat on the ramps in bits the other year when i was asking to buy it then.

Where would everyone reccommend i take the zed to get a few engine issues etc sorted?? I started it up yesterday and it seemed a little smokey, now the previous owner hadnt driven in ages so i dont know whether it needs fixing or just running?? Someone did mention something about 'turbo seals'?? Im also wanting it to be serviced etc and generally looked after before i put it on the road. Cheers, Bradley

On another note, due to the car not being run for so long and also the fact that it has over 100k miles, im wanting the engine properly looked at. Im not wanting a 400bhp rebuild or anything, i just want to make sure everything is ok (was smoking slightly earlier. Maybe this was due to the lack of it being driven??)
