I went to where the car is stored today to sort out a few little things, i went to start it and it wont start! :( All i did was replace two of the spark plugs (as it was misfiring) fit my cubby hole in the dash and put some petrol in. The last time i fired her up she started fine, the only issue im having is a dead battery. Tried jump leads from my Volvo V40, but it didnt seem to hold the charge when disconnected, but even when it was connected it wouldnt start, it was just sat trying to turn over. Is there any comman faults? Nothing has happened to the car since it was last started, its just been sat on a garage ramp without being touched?? Thanks for any help! Bradley

I asked for 3" turbo back and got quoted about £1k. But they know me so, they would do the work i asked of them, after all, it was them that quoted that price!! lol.

Quite the difference! And to top it all, the silvatec bilbs should have cost me £15, but as the packaging didint have a barcode, the chap at halford put them through at £10!! Bonus! Bradley

What inch bore is the exhaust though?? this is 3inch bore from the turbos back!! Didnt realise how big the bore was until i was shown a piece of 3" pipe.

Go on then, if you have a 3" bore exhaust how much did you pay for it? I've just been given a quote of near on £1k for a turbo back system with sport cats up to the existing backboxes. Just wanting to know how good a price this is. Cheers, Bradley

Well i did them last night, 10min job each and they look rather pleasant! Rather than use soldering iron etc it was easy just to get the hairdryer on them warm the base of them up (t'is where all the glue is) then painfully force them apart with my fingers (didnt trust using a screwdriver etc) Then when it came to reassemble them i simply warmed the glue up again then stuck them back together, i'll post some pics up later as im chuffed with the results! Ok then, how do i de-tago the fron indicator unit on my uk model? I've got the unit itself off thinking it was the bulbs, but oh no, there is an orange part inside the unit itself! Dont want to force it open incase its not supposed to, HELP!! Bradley

People like this do not deserve a court case, they should be served the death sentance straight away.

Is there an alternative to running the standard cats?? e.g sport cats etc?

So do these run off standard turbos?? Or are upgraded turbos needed?? Cheers. Bradley

Depends if you want to keep the origional spoiler pal. If your getting something new as well as getting it painted then brute force might be quicker. Obviously if your selling it off etc, take care and time, not to break it. Bradley
