  1. I'm dissapointed that I cannot reply to an "items for sale" thread nor contact the thread starter, what is the point in this?
  2. Hi5 replied to a post in a topic in General Discussions - Non 300ZX
did anyone ever buy the CO36 AVIATOR's? and are they directional or do you have them on the wrong way on one side?
  3. what happened to pnoc? anyone know?
  4. Brilliant film! dirka dirka mohammed jihad!
  5. I dont own a Z but a friend does, and she is paying £142 a month ! she's 24 and with prestige... However, I've been quoted 660 tpft with adrian flux, and im 25 with 4 yrs ncb... have to have a tracker tho so that adds at least £300 to it.(import)
  6. nope, 1500+labour for a geabox - sorry for the confusion :S
  7. 300zx tt, 1500 was for a new clutch i think
  8. A friend of mine had to call the AA out today after she pulled up to some lights, and the car died. The AA bloke towed her to a garage to have the gearbox/clutch looked at, and they initially said she would be most likely looking at 1500+labour... The car starts up ok, but doesnt move at all drive or reverse, however it will sometimes "grip" and move a little. (this is what she told me!) Is 1500 an OK price or is she being ripped here? Cheers!
  9. I dont own a Z, (booooo), but for me, a Z with the later spec front bumper, clear tails, and no spoiler has to be the best looking car out there, no doubt about it for me. Greg's above is exactly the look I love... and unlike alot of other "good looking" cars out there, the Z has the power to back it up :)
  10. some xmas bitches: and some xmas pussy... merry xmas! :)
  11. Hi all, I need some help compiling a list of all 300zx (z32 only) types that were produced, uk and jap only. So far, I have TT LWB TT SWB NA (both wheelbases?) Convertible (NA or TT / Both?) Slicktop (again, na/tt/both?) and any other variations? it's important i have a correct list :) thanks Adam
  12. much of a job to replace the panel?
  13. not black, its blue doh :P
  14. you're right its the panel :) her car is black, much of a job to replace (panel)?
  15. Some bugger has nicked the badge of a friends car, and she doesnt know where to get a replacement, and nor do I! So, anyone know where I can get one of these?
  16. I had a run-in with someone a couple of years ago, he basically put my number in phone boxes in brighton with the title "college boy", I was inundated with calls for about a week from sad old tossers looking for a rent boy. Was funny at first, but after the 3rd call was quite annoying and really got on my tits, and for about a month after every call i got i was expecting it to be some old tosser wanting a hand job. Not good for the mind :( Still makes me laugh now though! Good luck on getting it sorted :)
  17. Hi Gio, thanks for the reply. I'm aware of the skins, what im bothered about is either removing the spoiler safely, or swapping the tailgat :) its good the bumper is easy to swap :) I guess i'll have to play it by ear on the turbos then, i'll look for smoke, and have a look at the guages :) thanks
  18. Topless - not sure on the model, but its high, i.e. matches the line of the roof. Too wild for me! pete - whats a good way to tell though, should it be noted on the service history? Deano - i did get your email, but you didnt give any sort of times about getting it sorted so... :) I want one sooner rather than later, money is burning a hole!
  19. Hi all :) I'm interested in a Z, it all sounds good, just a few questions I've got. 1) It has a Paul Bailey rear spoiler on it - personally, not my flavour, and ideally I want to be spoilerless. Am I able to swap tailgates with another Z? or has anyone removed a spoiler successfully without damaging it to re-use? 2) How easy is it to remove the front bumper and to attach a new one. I've done this on several (smaller) cars, the replacement bumper is a 99 spec one. 3) It's done 70,000 miles, and I read that post about a turbo "expectedly" failing at this mileage - is this normal then? and should I really be budgeting for new turbos as a matter of course? I reeeeally want to be a z owner, but even with cars going for as little as 2500, i've found it very hard to actually find a car I like!
  20. I broke a v6 ford probe on my drive, did it with a mate, and it took fooking ages, 1 week, and left quite a bit including the lump, could of got much more out of it given the time... Round here you can just call up a company to pick it up for free, so thats what i did :)
  21. I've spoken to a guy down in plymouth, its a jap tt auto, sounds ok, nice chap, and he tells me the boost guage is in the middle all the time. Looking at the buyers guides, this indicates something wrong, mtl tells me could be pipe loose/disconected or just no boost, but I really wouldnt have a clue where to look, or how to tell! Anyone in the plymouth area able to come look with me? I'm coming from brighton and its a v.long up to 7 hour drive for me.. Free bag of sweets! and i'll pay for your fuel?
  22. hehe a friend has offered to lend me his transit and push it out of the way in future, which sounds like a plan. I own the flat, but not the freehold, the land is for our block of 6 flats... I think im out of luck RE: legally clamping them, so I'll have to just do it anyway and *****cks with it, take it as it comes... cant see the police giving a mokeys if i clamped it, can you? I think they would only care if i refused to remove it on request? police round here are crap, only care if they know they can solve it and put a + on their stastics. Came out to my car one say, minus alloys... neighbours told me who done it, and the police just didnt care at all...
  23. Cut a story short, I just had a pop at a neighbour who keeps parking our block of flats large private drive. Not normally a problem, but today he parked very inconsiderably, taking up 2 spaces and leaving me with no room to park. So I printed out a notice, saying "I shouldnt be parked here and I cant park properly", and put it under his wiper. 5 mins later I go back to find hes removed it and put it under my wiper. He stepped over the line at that point :D I put it back on his car, and waited behind a wall and as i thought, he came back out, and then I confronted him. I probably wasnt as polite as I could of been, but then he did wind me up swapping the notice over. The guy says "I can never park in the road, no space" blah blah, I pointed out (loudly) that I dont give a flying f*ck and he should talk to the council about it. He then says hes not going to move his car, so I then pushed him etc, didnt hit him though. Could of though, but I had my head on. He then agreed to move the car... Then another neighbour comes out, and informs me one of the other cars is his too! Anyway, what I wanna know is, am I allowed to clamp his car? and am I allowed to charge money to remove it? or can I use a clamping company? The block of flats is run(yea right) by a managing agent who really dont care, and reckon its too much paperwork and admin for them to persue. I wanna sort this guy out without it firing back on me, all I can think of at the moment is letting his tyres down as it wont cause any damage, just alot of inconvenience. Clamping sounds better to me, but can I do it?
