Well thanks for all your sugestions, but im afraid none were correct this time ! it seems the last owner decided to re route the cables a bit and the hole they whent through chaffed the cable, and caused a short ,only noticed as there was a very slight spark from the chaffed wires, so stu you will have to find some beer money from another source this time !

plugs,oil, air, filter, Standard from nissan, but use motol oil, cost £50+ but ive used it on all my cars ,

new tyres, oil change,oil filter, air filter change ,spark plugs, and new light bulbs all round even the ones that worked,

While getting the car going noticed the fan (origanal plastic one )had loads of large splits in the plastic any one no the cause its not been hit or any thing going to replace it just wonderd why

Well finaly got the car going ,pulled this that and the other apart, cleaned this that and the other and hey presto going /dont know the what the prob was /but one question when i pulled the fuel pump fuse ,the spark to the plug stops is this right thanks for all the help and advice and the ecu unit info from sussex stu,
