if the car was sold by a trader you have more rights then if you bought the car privately. the trader has certain obligations when selling a vehicle. especially if it was sold with a full mot and on later inspection was found to be defective. you can report them to the mot inspectorate as they are falsifying documants to sell unroadworthy vehicles. have a quiet word in the guys ear saying that you have the rights not him and you CAN GET HIM PROSICUTED! If you have not joy with the cock get him prosicuted good luck gaz
