ahh but you have to care for a dog more cos they are more dependent than cats ;) my two cats are 15 years old and have only just become a burdon. :p andy n nick which earths are best to check as there are bloody hundreds of them! any obvious ones that have been known to cause problems.

not that i know of. its just odd this is the first time i have noticed its reaction to turning the lights off tho as its also the first time its been on long enough for me to mess about with a few things.

haha its noisy anyway. i was just thinking its a problem as it is a warning! decatting would mask this warning then solve it to be honest. but if its just an electrical earth gremlin then decatting will solve it if you know what i mean.

iknow the cat light is for when they get too hot. eg excess fuel being burned in the cats causing them to overheat. but i dont know how unless for a split second a coilpack or something drops out dumping fuel into the exhaust. i plan on getting decats at some ppoint but i would like to solve this problem beforehand.

right my z seems to be running fine but every now and again (few weeks) i would be giving it a little paced driving and it pulls like a train. say over a 7 mile journey mixed carrageway and normal roads. when i get home turn off. say i go out again (normal to paced driving) the cat light would flicker on and off up to being fully on! (still running fine pulling great etc.) this will then flicker then go off. ok keep driving comes on full stays on till i get home them when i pull up turn my lights off the cat light dims or goes off. if i turn the lights back on the cat light comes on. but its also controlled by the revs/throttle. its such a strange thing and very difficult to explain thats why i asked for somebody to have a look at my datalog as it happened last night and i did a data log while sat outside. what do you recon it could be im

*EVERYONE READ* A letter in the back of Jap Performance
this is when clubs show there true colours in helping its members in such a tragic event. we all buckle down to help even if it is only financially to go towards making things a little more bearable.i remember when kenny told us about this tragedy and my heart sank! ( even tho i have never personally met him or his family). i think of this club as not only a car club but as a community and when there is such a tragic event that has occurred i think we all feel it in one way or another. i hope Kenny and his children are coping well and i think it was kind of him to go to this effort to offer his thanks even tho it wasn't needed or asked for. all the best to Kenny and his children gaz

it will flick about just keep an eye on it. when sitting at idle sometimes mine sits at 0 then when still sitting there it will move into the first quater. :p

Oil level on dials
i would put it down to a dodgy sender tbh. they are well known to be dodgy. ;)
-
Oil level on dials
some days on mine it will sit on 0 other it will run in the centre of the guage. can be quite worrying. i will get a sender one day i know my engine is a goodun tho.
-
Oil level on dials
on idle yes driving no but to be honest the senders get gunked up over the years and they are prone for inaccuracies. get an aftermarket fitted or buy a new sender but be in for a shock they retail at approx £80+ oem spec
