hi blueknight . it was me who said about the tie rods there have been a couple of cases on here in recent weeks who bought the ebay cheapies and had them fail in a dramatic way. the recommended rods are tein and powertrix rods which are tried and tested technology. why skimp on somthing thats gonna keep you alive eigh :) regards gaz

not really. if the 355 was a write off then it would be uneconomical to repair back to stock. why not use a cheap doner and make something completely wacky and original. if i had the money i would love to mess about like this.

power steering intermittant or just heavy can be the speed sensor on the gearbox, easiest and cheapest is to resolder the joints on the speedo, it hasnt cost you anything other then time then. :)
