water under the bridge now mate. cant be arsed and nobody on here will be fudged over by him now anyway. was an expensive mistake nearly £500 for a full 60k service and i had to do it myself at a cost of £300 a year later. once bitten twice shy as they say.

so did I but I found out they didnt replace my tensioner when it failed a year later nearly taking out my engine. I only trust myself to work on it now. Will take me a lot to trust anybody to do any work on mine again! Hence why I did my timing belt myself when I found out the tensioner was fubar.

When I did mine im sure I used the online manual which also gave you the amount of teeth between the sprockets! That combined with a genuine nissan belt and its quite easy.

if its anything like my clifford it will have a voltage drop sensor circuit. I have to put mine in valet mode.

when i measured my pilot bush the id of the bush was 16mm diameter if that helps. first pic is tt bellhousing and second pic is non turbo bellhousing

the clips are for the clutch release fork and thrust bearing, the circle one holds the bearing on the fork and the other goes inside the fork to hold it onto the pivot ball

been in my current job 7 years. the one before that 3 years and the one before that about 8 months (first job after leaving college, one of the guys was an arsehole and ended up throwing my tool box at him and telling them to stuff there job). had a couple of part time ones while funding myself through college

been across to my local chippy this evening to get my dinner, well i went in one of the entrances and ordered my food. when i sat down i noticed a couple of nice girls chatting away to themselves and so i sat there trying to look cool as you do. :thumbup: anyway my food was cooked really quickly and i wasnt prepared for them to say mine was ready, anyhow i grab my food and was really polite , went to leave this time by the other door as i wanted to head to the offy for a couple of beers , when to open the door and nothing! i should have realized at this point but no i continue to rattle the door harder and harder. after what felt like an eternity i realized the door was locked hahahah (NEVER known it to be locked while the chippy is open in the 7 years i have lived here) anyway i turn around red faced and just said "now i feel like a right dickhead" and left by the other door......... dont sound exciting but its playing on my mind and i thought i would share to make the embarrassment less painful LOL
