  1. Yea Im in the process of putting my engine back in but I've got a new engine harness to do first... How in the hell did you get the old one out? Mine seems welded in there! Dash out job its starting to look like?
  2. My wheels are very similar to that... What make are they?
  3. lol @ the Solar Gard - shes ferocious!
  4. well that makes me 48 and 49... 2 x UK 300ZX TT Targa Manuals, both in Graphite Grey with Black Leather  My Z was there in the club stands. There was also 1 purple one on a traders stand with a wide bodykit, got some photos of it somewhere but not uploaded em yet!
  5. Mines a daily driver covering a minimum of 250miles per week, every week. Since April when I got her Ive covered about 7000 miles. Fuel is a bit of a killer and as it keeps rising Im becoming more tempted with buying a diesel slag, but on the other hand, I couldn't justify the insurance on the 300 just for weekends. I pay best part of £1400 a year insurance so I want to make the most of it!
  6. its easy to repair though, just go down to halfrauds and buy any tin of matt black and spay over! Sorted...
  7. also note the "for example E11", i.e, not "it must say E11 with no other number"!
  8. Can't you stick some normal tyres on it to get it MOT'd and then change them back? Just borrow someone elses if you havent any? Regarding the tyres though, Im sure they're road legal. Many a truck out there running Insa Turbos, but also, they are legal in the RTV (Road Tax Vehicle) class in offroad trialing. Tell them to stop being so pedantic!
  9. I have that problem with mine.... not using the 2fast2cool downpipes though. I'm using them with some slightly more divorced downpipes for that bit extra. Strange, strange but true!
  10. I've got 6x9s in the back of my 300, looks a fairly good job. I didn't do it though so I don't know how difficult to really was...
  11. Looks like your making some good progress there matey! You still got the clock surrounds? Would like to try something with them if ya have?
  12. Weld a couple of additional calipers on the rear and pipe them up to a hydraulic handbrake. Hey presto!
  13. How on earth can you put the GTO and Supra above the RX7? Foolish bean... Even the Z32 would be pushing it to be above the RX7... But as for the NSX, they're gorgeous. Old Skool Kool with an engine to match. 3.2lr Vtec. :D I used to love my little 1.6i-VT and it used to go like a rocket. Could only hope to have the legendary V6 version!
  14. I think thats the idea. :D Ideal...
  15. The GTS-Ts are a bit of a waste of space from what I've read before. You should have it!
  16. Where is this dyno day going to be? I can't find any info on it...
  17. Well two weeks ago I dropped the engine and box out of my next Z. Its a much lower mileage (70k) UK graphite grey TT Targa (much like what I already have!). The head gasket had gone and I wanted to do a few other bits to it. After a two week break I commenced the work again last Saturday. I stripped the engine down to replace the head gaskets with Stainless steel cometic ones instead of the cheap sh... rubbish which was on there before. I know they were cheap crap as this car was actually owned by my brother 4 years ago and he sold it after replacing the head gaskets and having them go again. They may as well of been made of cork! Anyway, with the engine out, I thought I may as well go ahead and replace the clutch with a Z1 street clutch, install a Z1 lightened flywheel, thrust bearing and chromoly ball, along with a braided clutch line. Whilst there, I also treated it to some split down pipes and new exhaust gaskets throughout. I'd read a fair few people mensioning a plenum bypass and EGR removal being worth while so commenced with both of these mini projects. Made everything a lot simpler to look at thats for sure! After putting everything back together I treated her to a new timing belt and idlers to boot :D Once I had it all back together on the floor, I began the task of putting it all back in. With a little help from the girlfriend on the engine hoist (a little nerveracking when lieing underneath!) we lowered it all eventlessly back in :) Thats where we left it last night, to begin plugging it all back in this morning. Today's gone alright with getting it all back connected (as far as Im aware) with the new decats in place - SHINY! Got to the PAS pump though and all went to c*ck, could I get the little beggar back in?! no... so I gave up for the evening before I broke something... To be continued on thursday! Should have her running and moving around again all being well, ready to install the new boost controller and change the wheels over (Rota Drift GTR's :D)...
  18. Im not normally a fan of red cars either but ianl's looks lovely and its of a very similar look to what I am aiming for with my next Z.
  19. Ah right, I didn't wait for it to load. lol...
