  1. Ive a 97 TT version S, does anybody know if the jap spec has an oil cooler or is it just the uk spec and jap modded. If the jap standard doesnt have one is it worthwhile fitting. Also is the gearbox the same on the jap manual as uk, any other differences between he two, eg uk spec supra/jap spec supra? Who does a new oil cooler??? many thanks
  2. Just seen a 300 for sale with 18" wheels at the back and 17"s at the front. The car had a slight "jacked up" look , which was good. Is having odd sizes the way to go or are their any pros and cons. Seems to be an american thing??
  3. Just about to do my first oil change on my 300TT. The car is supposed to have only done 12K and seems to be genuine. Ive just bought some Morris multilife fully sythetic, 10W50, does this make for good 300 tt oil as nissan only recommend a semi? My main concern is that the rocker/sump gaskets may suddenly leak as a result of how thin the synthetic is. Are there any leak issues on the 300, as some of my other cars have developedf small leaks in these areas after using synthetic. Any help would be great.
  4. Have been offered some nearly new HKS Hipermax II coilovers for the swb version s. (if i get it)Will these fit the swb ok as there probably off a 2+2. For fast road use only are coil-overs overkill or for the right price are they worth having. Is this a good brand or is there a better recommended one as ive no experience in coil-overs.
  5. Stuart, This 99 model you came across, where abouts did you see the add and is it still available do you know?
  6. One other thing, Talking to the owner the car was imported as new with between delivery and 1000m on the clock possibly by nissan them selves or so the story goes. I guess it must have been a demo car or the original jap owner ran out of funds. If theres paperwork to help colaberate the mileage and seems genuine, does it sound like the one to go for with a little hagglig. I think its still wearing some tired original factory boots!!(Dunlops i think, a Nissan favorite?)
  7. The cars priced at £13,750, but there a few k more than that on quality imports website. This price would have been a steel a while back, but its a private sale and with recent prices is this a reasonable price? Are prices settling at all as they become rarer as i dont want to loose a fortune over night.
  8. Looking at a 97 black, twin turbo, swb (coupe), version S manual with 11,000m on the clock totally standard. Has anybody got any idea of a good price for this particular model? Havnt seen one before in version S guise, is this worth snapping up? Any input would be great help.
