Thanks for thje feedback. Couldnt find car kits listed on theirwebsite, but ill give them a call next week. Im really after the carrier bolts, not just the calliper ones. Did you buy these cos mine are missing and they are a different thread so need the GTR ones??? I guess you have the GTR upgrade all done? Is it good and what braided hoses should i use, 300's or GTR Thanks

Hi, Thinking of going for some Meister coilovers for my SWB. Seen lots of people on here say they are very good over worn out originals. Mines not doen any miles so wondering if ill see much difference over stock?? Whats best version S or Version R??? Anybody tried both or got any feedback? somewhere it was said about steering vibration in the pillow ball mounts from Version R's is this right??? Cheers

I really would have liked the boost guage in the cluster so it looks factory and not so street racy. TThe crappy sticker comment was that like alot of imports, thay dealer coverted the speedo drive and just stuck a sticker over the K of KMPH to achive the MPH and looks a bit crappy. Apart from that as you say the series 4 is fine, just nice to have the UK dials as it would have had if sold here. Has anyone done a series 4 to uk dials??? So far from what everyones said ineed to: Fit the UK speedo dial in my j spec cluster? not worht the hassle of the plumbing of the instrument boost guage, go for the a pillar? Anybody got any more tips/cheats? Trying to make the car nice and finish it ready for use in the spring, shes only done 14K!!! Cheers

Finally thinking about fitting uk clocks, but i need help please: My car is a strange model, possibly series4? Is a very basic spec,97 slick-top TT, no toys at all. Which UK spec speedo will be a straight swop?? I ask this cos i think the instruments went digital control on later models or have i lost it?? As far as i know my car reads in Miles on the speedo and odometer, but dont want that crappy sticker on there, that looks like a paper clipping and felt tip. Two other qs, my model has no boost guage, how can i wire this up if i can fit the UK dials?? (It will be fitted to the uk one, and will look like a fualt if not wired and its nice to have a boost guage :0)) Without sounding like Arthur daily, how can i adjust the mileage on the odometer i fit or can i swop the original over, im sure who converted originally put the correct mileage back on, ;0), ;0). Im looking to fit UK instruments to my 97 TT. I think they went from analogue to digital instruments on the later models, maybe even the last UK ones. My model; year they dropped the boost guage for some bizarre reason, anyone know how i can wire this if i manage the uk dials? Question is, does anyone know what UK clocks will fit my car, or can i just change the speedo, rather than the whole instrument cluster? Sure someones done it, or the wiring mods? Cheers Matt

I think the HSD, MeisterR Zeta Coilovers, SPL Coilovers are all pretty much the same unit?? Ive heard the tein are far too hard, anybody know if the HKS Hypermax are ok for everyday use?? Want to get the best setup I can for lowering, fast road and odd trackday use. What other setups are used on the swb??

Hi, I know everyones proabably covered this to death especially Yowser, but im gonna ask anyways.:thumbup1: Looking to get my Z upto speed after being in storage sometime. Its totally stock SWB TT with about 15K on the clock. Im looking for the best coilover setup for SWB, can anyone give me some pointers please? I was trying to go the JDM route with some HKS Hypermax II's if i can get them/afford them, but I see things have moved on since these were in. Im gonna be doing fast road and odd trackday, so looking for the best of both worlds if their out there, seen alot of the following mentioned. what everyones thoughts on these, what you got/recommend? HKS Hypermax II's MeisterR Zeta Coilovers SPL Coilovers What will I need to go with them, if anything??? (Sway bars, tension rods upper arms ect..) Cheers For the help Matt

Hi, Does anybody know a good Suspension/Wheel alignment place in the South. Im right on the coast near Portsmouth. Friend of mine has just got his first Zed and id say the car has been worked on/repaired before? Pulls badly left. He wants to get the car checked out and setup. I remember a place at slough mentioned in Jap Performance/Banzai once that looked the busines but he didnt want to go all that way unless he had to. Any advice would be great. Cheers

Hi, Does anybody know if R34 GTST wheels are a straight fit to the 300? Looking at buying these: A set of Four 1999 Skyline R34 GTST Wheels these are 5 stud wheels with 5x114 pcd and 35-45 offset with a centre bore size of 66.1. All sounds ok, but this centre bore 66.1 is throwing me, anybody explain or help? Thanks Matt

Need to get some front suspension and geometry alignment work done. Was going to take the car to Zed world, have heard good and bad reports. Can any one shed any light on whether they are a good garage to get suspension repair done. Cheers :confused:

The restrictors mentioned on the jap model, are they in the manifold or is there a small down pipe u can replace?

Can a nissan dealer do 4 wheel tracking or does it have to be a specialist??

Can anyone explain what a Tapley meter is and how it works. How can something not attached to the rear wheels check the diff or brakes?

Went to collect my car from the mot and it wasnt there! The garage said theyd taken it out on the road to test the Limited Slip Differential. Is this true or were they just using an excuse to rag my car? Anybody else had an MOT where they drive the car on the road?
