What instruments to Fit?

Im looking to fit UK instruments to my 97 TT.

I think they went from analogue to digital instruments on the later models, maybe even the last UK ones.

My model; year they dropped the boost guage for some bizarre reason, anyone know how i can wire this if i manage the uk dials?

Question is, does anyone know what UK clocks will fit my car, or can i just change the speedo, rather than the whole instrument cluster?

Sure someones done it, or the wiring mods?

Haven’t messed with Play Doh for probably 40 years 😅. Cam timing has been finalised, so was time to check piston to valve clearance. Turns out I’ve got LOADS. 4.4mm on intake and 4.9mm on exhaust. Finally day of tinkering complete before the family holiday to Sicily. Straight back to it when I’m back, and hopefully take delivery of my new Singapore swirly boys

JaiKai - MK2 - Ziggy Build

New engine oil arrived yesterday so had some time today and got the engine how i liked it ready to be put back in.
But this time i've decided to move the wideband sensors back to the downpipes as i still dont like the location the test pipes
that i have with the proper bungs put them at and for my likening its a little low.

All ready to be put back in the zed.

More progress. Verifying the cam timing and found the exhaust cams were off by 3 degrees. Surprised that the intake cams were spot on where the should be considering the new block and heads being skimmed.
Next job is adjust the cam timing to get it to spec, then pull the heads off and play doh the pistons and check Piston to Valve clearance. Will also advance the intake cams 10deg to simulate VTC activation and make sure everything has plenty of room

I was hoping to push on and potentially make this, but my turbos that were meant to be delivered tomorrow have been pushed back until end of the month

Bringing this back to the top - as it's the next big event in the car show calendar....
....And NEC aside, this is really one of the year's best car shows. Great location, so much to see in addition to a huge variety of Japanese cars, and (hopefully) good weather.
I haven't booked a club stand (yet) as the organisers need a minimum commitment of 10 cars - but there's still time!
Even if there's just a handful of us, we can meet up at the usual location (Tescos car park) and drive in together.
