I was just cruising through town and ran into one of my school mates from junior school who now plays football for s****horpe, he was driving an audi tt 225 convertible and his mate had an impreza i think (dont know which model but it was a new one [not the brand brand new one] it had the big bonnet scoop and huge spoiler). so he tells me to turn off onto to the main road where there is a set of lights with three lanes and off we go, got off to a sluggish start but left the audi standing and was surprised at how quickly and in such a short distance i reeled in and overtook the subaru, never raced anything worth racing before so didnt know what to expect. very chuffed indeed, and the guys did give plenty of respect to my 16 year old nissan. :nana2: then on my way home some twat in brand new subaru legacy gt/st? is driving up my arse, i cant even see his headlights! while some hero in alfa romeo tspark or woteva they are called is revving away next to me. pulled up to the lights by which time the subaru had undertaken me and they're both revving away. lights went green (the road here is about 5 lanes wide) so as it oppened up i floored it and it was bye bye subaru and alfa. :slap: then we get to the next lights and the legacy driver wants another go, so again i wipe the floor with him going round an s-bend. lights up ahead are red so i ease onto the breaks and he stops next to me and says 'how much you pushing out?' 'bout 300' i said, he goes 'this is only 250 and im still here', at which i turned away laughing at him. he was only their cos we had driven all of 400 yards and i wasnt running a red light for his dad or anybody else. ****er :mac1:

were you insured FC or TPFT? makes a difference if you were insured TPFT you can do whatever you want with the car, if FC you'd need to buy it back unless you sell something they wouldn't notice was missing
