sighhhhh! i think my car is jinxed! since th accident i had in may iv been messed about by th other parties insurers and we were finally getting sumwher when thy admitted liability a coupla wks ago. th car was so close to getting sorted and i was making all th arrangements for parts and couldnt wait to get her lookin dent free again. left my aunts house last night and thot id go for a bit of a drive on th way home, all was fine till i ended up going straight on at a right hander and colliding with some metal railings. i cnt sat it wasnt my fault, th roads were wet and i shud no betta than to try go round corners at regular speeds. lost traction at all four wheels and car skidded at a slight angle with me sittin thinking F***! reversed th car off th kerb/railing and straightnd it up on th rd then stepped out to check th damage :shock: had to go pick up th number plate and literally pick my left intercooler of th barrier, half th front bumper had been pulled past th front wheel on th damaged side :cry: no fog light, no sidelight, remains of a headlight. i dont know how my tyre survived cos th wheel has some pretty big chunks ripped off th rim :cry: to make things even worse a copper pulled round th corner less than a minute later and after all th regular checks there gonna report me to th council so i can be billed for th fence :mac1: managed to crawl less than a mile home and park th car, shes now sittin outside th house lookin very poorly and i aint decided wot am gonna do with her yet. will have a better idea once me n chunk have stripped th n/s down and got th bloody bonnet to open :cry: Yaseen heres some pics for you:

lolol nah man i like this place i aint gettin worked up or nethin, in fact im quite enjoying having a decent debate for once without things gettin out of hand. ur maybe th only mod with whom its possible to do that without questions being dodged and dodgy comments being made. ur straightforward and tell it how u/th comittee c it which is how its supposed to be and i appreciate that. i just think some rules are made without full consideration of th benefits to club members which is what most of us r here for. i know we have to consider th role of our forum traders and their livelihood also, hence why i think when th comittee deliberates on an issue thr shud be an opportunity for both sides of th argument to be heard. this could be done with an announcment of th proposal/issue inviting members to fwd their point of view in a forum which can only be seen by th commitee. jus an idea, dnt shoot me :bow:

but if according to th TLO the group buy is "non-profit making" then a restriction on th number of ppl defies logic and is: 1) unfair to those taking part as thy could potentially recieve more discount 2) unfair to ppl who would obviously miss out on a 1st come 1st serve basis which shud really be used when stock is limited

not denying you have done a great job and there are some great deals offered by th traders on here but you are in effect monopolising the market, if you get me. if that truely is th case and th comitte has no problem with that then i think thts a fine solution, i would be happy to accept that as am sure would others interested on th topic

Mac u know what i mean dude: Group Buys - Members wanting to conduct group buys on the Club’s forum on a “not for profit” basis must first get approval from the TLO before the GB goes ahead. The TLO will make sure that GB items(s) cannot be supplied by one of the subscribed traders at a fair price and timeframe. The TLO's decision in the matter is final. Group Buys are defined as single item types/multiple buyers. Combined Orders – Members wanting to conduct combined orders on the Club’s forum on a “not for profit” basis must keep the total number of members participating to 5 or less. Combined orders will be moderated if this policy is abused. Combined orders are defined as different item types/multiple buyers sharing shipping costs. these are harsh IMO

thts just economics, supply and demand is related to price and there will always be fluctuations, thts th way it works. if thy dnt happen on th forum thyl happen behind th committees back, much better if it can be regulated fairly on here without huge restrictions imposed

u wish, we still aint heard anything about th "group buys" from courtesy which so obviously benefit everyone involved. we were supposed to get a statement on that about a fortnight ago

th only way i know is exit junction 21 and head towards city centre down narborough rd, turn left at end of narborough rd and keep driving straight on for 5-10 mins. bulls inn is on th left hand side, car park comes first then th building.

well MR2 are 2Litre, so ud be very very very lucky to insure one for th amount ur parents are willing to spend

anything 2 litres or above ur gonna find impossible to insure for less than £1500 at 17 id be surprised if u cud even insure anythin above 1.6 litres for less than £1500 to be honest bud good luck yaseen
