  1. PMSL i see chunk has been spreading rumours, again! I wouldn't dare try, I simply don't have the experience or know-how. P.S. For the record i did not drift into a fence with my old zed, it understeered :p
  2. My zed is back on the road! :nana2: Came out of the bodyshop on friday, had the accident damage repaired and everything resprayed except the roof, extremely happy with the standard of work. - no rear spoiler (perspex lens fitted) - no rear wiper  - no aeriel  - no Z badge  (well i've got 2 nice shiny headlamp panels really, one with a badge and one without) Spent all of saturday putting the front end back together (save me a load on labour and i wanted to do it myself anyway, experience). Headlights, bulbs, bumper, fogs, indicators, arch liners, 19's back on. Then spent most of sunday morning stripping out the boot and cleaning everything in the car. Did take some pics but there all on my mates camera and phone. :slap: :D:D:D Yaseen

seats? i have two fronts which will be replaced by my old leathers
  6. its a generic cutaway, had to root through a few work presentations to find it. i wish i had one for the Z32! it would be very difficult to get hold of a drawing unless you know someone who works at garrett that dsnt mind taking the risk it really depends on how long the seal has been knackered and if the resultant cooking of oil has travelled down the shaft far enough to the bearing
  7. the oil seals at each end of the shaft are basically minature piston rings
  8. red - turbine end bearing green - oil feed to bearing and holes in bearing yellow - turbine end seal no, the bearings hold and align the shaft. there is one at the compressor end too, around the oil slinger. there will also be an o-ring and oil seal plate at the comp end the seals are there to stop oil leakage at all times (especiallay at idle/low turbo speed) and also to reduce blow by at high speed
  9. too true!
