How do you justify kicking a handcuffed man lying on the floor as reasonable force? EVEN if he was struggling he aint going anywhere is he! And then to smash his head on the van door! Don't disagree that the guy is a twat for vandalising a bus stop, but the police are NOT ther to hand out punishments.

The police officer can clearly be seen on the CCTV footgae kicking this guy who is pinned down on the floor by two other officers 3-4 times. He even has the awareness to stop kicking when somebody walks past! What a fcuking joke! :mad:

there is HUGE difference between that radiator and the 'proper' performance KOYO, don't be fooled into thinking you are getting a bargain

first simple check: check power steering fluid is topped up

Nice and expensive, my contract at Holset runs out at the end of the week and I go back to uni so the car won't be getting another penny... but i do need a new exhaust and brakes and...

its one of the water pipes at the front of the engine behind the main water pipes and short rubber hoses, both are in pretty much nackered so gonna need some new ones

Spent 3 whole days working on the car and i know i WILL have a bloody good nights sleep tonight. Stripped the front of the engine as far back as under the timing belt covers. Found the cause of my water leak (see pic). Fitted adjustable tension rods, front upper arms and front ARB. Fitted front and rear coilovers and spent hours messing about with them to get them set up. Got halfway through fitting hicas eliminator and realised i dont have spanner big enough for the tie rods :rolleyes: Still got loads to do! Im now just so physically and mentally drained from all the work, in between running in and out the house to check torque settings lol A few pics...

can someone double check this for me? i dropped my rear end to measure it and make sure and its coming out at 670mm not 630mm

anybody bother to replace them or do you just fit the aftermarket shocks without them? Yas

the thing is the overall length is alot shorter and the springs are alot stiffer so you just have to guess the first time round, now i know exactly how much to wind them back in so will be sorted tomorrow

yep, i forgot to check before i removed stock set, finished fitting front suspension parts today and i think i overcompensated on the front coilovers. she sits about an inch higher than before lol

Can someone with standard shocks and springs please measure the height from the floor to the bottom centre of both the front and rear wheel arches please... Already taken mine off to put coilovers on and need a base height to work from Thanks Yas

just to add all 2+2 (lwb) are targa top, swb can be targa-top, hard-top, or soft-top all variations can be non turbo or twin turbo except the soft top which is non turbo only tell tale sign for a swb is fuel filler cap is in front of rear passenger side wheel as opposed to behind like on the 2+2

FFS i know EXACTLY how you feel mate, remember when i told you why i decided not to spend money on a kit. I don't know if you'll be able to do this but I know a couple of guys on the supra forum have had their cars repaired by a supermarket after they were damaged in the car park. The signs that say you leave things at your own risk etc aint worth shit

there arnt many cars worth racing around here though dave (or places to do it 'safely'), the 'strongest' challenge i had was from a celica at the traffic lights on that massive junction of waterloo way and welford road on the way to the cinema. absolutely destroyed him.....and then he complemented my wheels lol :D

im lucky the guy who works in the post office near me that does tax is okay, i went to tax the zed this weekend and im yet to receive my insurance documents from houghtons. i have one cover note with no registration on which is now well expired and another which replaces it but has the wrong registration on (J instead of G). i dont understand how they cocked that up because all previous correspondance from them had the correct reg on :headvswall: anyway the guy did question it but when i explained he didnt mind and i got my tax disk
