  1. Sorted - Just took the bulbs to the motor factor and said i want four of these please (the side light bulbs are the same as the rear number plate light bulbs)
  2. Sorted - 2 screws from the outside, thanks chunk
  3. Sorted - handbrake adjustment
  4. The car failed its MOT this morning, not too worried as they are not major things. Got a few questions though so I can get it ready for the retest: 1) No side lights (I knew about that  ) - are the jap spec side lights/fog lights two bulbs, or two filaments in one bulb? what bulb do i need and where can i get it? 2) n/s steering gaitor is split - again where from and how much labour am i looking at? 3) one of the rear number plate lights don't work, how do i get to it and change the bulb? 4) Need to adjust the handbrake - 5% efficient apparently lol, is there a guide? Thanks in advance for all the advice! Yaseen
  5. anyone?
  6. Can't give any advice on your problem but if you find you do need new ones, I have a set for sale here
  7. Hows the recovery going bud? Any more hospital visits? When is the car going to be ready!
  8. wide arch front and rear :D
  9. i saw that paul, but it makes no sense to me as i never know what i'm looking for just from the instructions lol if both sides only need to be balanced it would be so much simpler to connect the two elbows than do all that, plus i don't have stock recircs anymore, wouldnt know what to do with th apexi bovs
  10. Great info again guys, cheers jaffa, smithy. So it looks like i have the JWT style kit. The extra MAF i have is a knackered Z32 MAF so will be used as a dummy to give the same flow characteristics on both sides. I'll need another chip anyway when i finally get round to taking out the boost jets and fitting my profec e-01 so that can be sorted. I have a length of hose, a t-piece and some kind of mini restrictor/orifice plate that came with what i have below but if the two sides only need to meet to balance them, can I tap into both elbows and connect them together with a hose?
  11. ok mike so why does the jwt twin setup need the idle stabiliser mod and the doolz dont? and can you tell me what this mod is and what its supposed to do/how it works?
  12. thanks guys, so what's the difference between the JWT and Doolz? and what is this idle stabilisation mod?
  13. Erm... have any of you guys actually read the ad? He says he has the strosek body kit bought from zcentre but it hasnt been fitted etc and so i found it pretty obvious that the pics of the other cars were to show the kit
  14. Any luck Simon?
  15. Does anyone know what the 'fix' is to the pipework to use two completely seperate filters. I know you need a dummy MAF and the chip has to be changed to read double the air one MAF reads. Is there anything else? I'm not bothered about whether i have enought power to justify it or not so please no ''u need 400-500bhp'' posts lol Cheers Yaseen
  16. 4 easy things to look for: 1. If it has a standard front bumper, then a TT will have vents in the bottom outer corners, an NA wont. 2. In the engine bay there are four black rubber hoses in the TT, a pair on each side of the plenum, one of each pair goes to the throttle bodies. An NA has only 2 hoses - one to each throttle body. 3. The rad cap on a TT is on the right hand end of the radiator, an NA has the cap in the centre of the radiator. 4. An NA wont have HICAS so the power steering pot has less pipes going in and out of it, also the lid is offset from the centre.
  17. baz how do you get it to work on your fone, what do you need? i have a nokia 6630
  18. although i have to admit they look good, i personally cant see th point of spending £250 on headlights unless you live out in the country. almost all the city/town roads have street lighting now and if you ever find yourself where there isnt any, use the full beam, thats what its for. maybe im just too sensible :p
