  3. thought it was in the fuse box in the drivers footpanel http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=66739
  4. I thought the same thing with sponges and you'd get tiny scratches? Tried a wash mit and found it just didn't soap up :(
  5. To be honest mate, if you intend on working on your Z, it's a heavy old motor and it might be worth investing in a 3 ton jack for peace of mind. If you're a member of Costco, they do a nice 3 ton low level jack for under 70 quid. I'd hate to hear your jack gave way while you'd actually had the stands in the wrong place (while you were moving them) Vijay
  6. Hi, What do you guys use, sponge, mit, brush? Vijay
  7. and what sort of people go and watch an animal die, sick people in this "civilized" world :(
  8. As Mark says, axle stands are a must!!! And I would never ever trust one of those 2 ton jacks stamped with RAC, they're the sort of things they sell in Argos aren't they :( Glad you're ok and no one's hurt, that's the main thing ;) Vijay

  14. or dremel out a notch so you can use a scredriver ;)
  15. You can't see the ripples in pics, actually can't see them in the flesh but if you run your hand over the bumper, they're there ;) The shop said it will build up no problem, it's actually the opposite and that's why any normal filler wouldn't work, it would have to go on so thin ;)
  16. Hello bud, It was actually a guy in a branch of Morellis who suggested pollyester spray, reckons it'd have ebough flex in it easily  and just by chance, Allan replied to me tonight and suggested using the same thing. I left a message for my garage to speak to the painter who'll be doing my car to see whta he says too. If you can still ask your painter, I'd appreciate that :) Cheers Vijay
  17. Cheers for the link. Think I'll have to do some research, that link doesn't mention it being flexible :( Yes mate, same bumper as yours. Any idea what Peter used?
  18. Anyone ever hear of a polyester filler spray? Vijay
  19. Brilliant news mate, really hope you can just put it all behind you and enjoy your Z again :) Vijay

  22. Hi, Does anyone have any idea what can be used to put a skim over my Stillen front bumper? The problem is for some reason the top part (that runs under the headlights and nose panel) has gone wavey/warped :( Cheers Vijay
  23. I tried Kaspersky once, totally slowed down my PC :(
  24. Hello bud, No, they're old pics, my car's still not painted :( Hoping it's a matter of weeks now (be 17 months so far) Vijay
  25. Hi, Does anyone work in air conditioning? Need to know if I can have 1 air con unit but 2 controllers/ducts so I can have air con working in 2 rooms. It would be great if I could have them running at the same time but would be just as happy if I could have only 1 room running at a time. Cheers Vijay
