Did an ecu check yesterday, and just want to do an auto one too. Who did the box for you and was it expensive??? Viijay, see on instruction 12, it says the light will begin to flash....which light will flash?? :confused:

I assume you disassembled the cluster?? Is it easy....

A long flash is 10, a short flash is 1. So 5 long followed by 5 short is a code 55.....everything ok. As for the boost, my jap boosts to just before the 7 too....dont know what psi that is....

I think its a new cluster i need. Previously with the speed converter fitted, if you tapped the top of the dash , the speedo worked, then if you hit a bump, it would drop to 0. Now i have removed the converter and it still works with a tap on the dash, si im thinking it must be the cluster.

Car returned code 55 on an ecu diagnostic, so all seems fine there, anyone any ideas??? :headvswal

Well worth it mate, i travelled all the way from dublin to london to get mine, and its awesome. Its here... Its getting a chipped ecu at the weekend, and a boost controller, i may just part with it. Hang around here and learn a bit, i spent 12 months on here before taking the plunge... :D

I have removed the converter from my 90 tt, and i have the speedo cluster removed. 1 wire was cutfor some sort of feed, so i reconnected it from the loom into the speedo. However I have a black wire with silver dashes on it, that goes from the harness to the speedo, but has a green wire teed into it. This green wire disapperas off down under the right side of the dash. Any ideas where its going, and what i do with it. Thanks.

Im going to fit an avcr soon. So, i need some gauges fitted. So i have picked 3,- water temp, boost and oil pressure. Do i need a mechanical or electronic boost gauge, in fact do i need a boost gauge, as the avcr will show me what boost im running, wont it??? I take it water temp gauge and oil pressure gauges all come the same, ie , no electronic/mechanical, or are some different than others?? Finally, where would i tap a boost gauge into....?? Many questions, i know, but you guys always have the answers, cheers, Kersh.
