  1. Im getting my car chipped anyway, but the delimiter has been acting up a while now (steering going heavy, hicas light coming on), but how do i remove the delimiter. Where is it located (it has a small toggle switch on the side of aircon cluster which makes the needle sweep in kph) , and how do i remove it. Any help, please, Thanks.
  2. Couldve been stolen, its not really the way us Zed boys treat our cars tbh
  3. Ok, Have Apexi induction kit, and a big noisy exhaust :D . Any idea how much hp this is at the minute? I take it a boost controller is next. Im leaning towards an Apexi avcr, do I need to get a chip for the ecu. Car is a 1990 jap auto. Or can I just throw in an avcr, Has anyone on here posted a fitting guide apart from the twinturbo.net one (have searched extensively) Where do i get these, bear in mind postage to Dublin, Ireland, cheers Kersh.
  4. How do I check it, and is their a list of codes. Is this error code related to my previous problem of delimiter/non working speedo/no power steering. :headvswal
  5. Lately I have noticed the 'power' light flashing a number of times on startup. Anyone know why this is? Thanks.
  6. The guy who owned it in London - trey (used to be on here), he got it done. Its a great car, trying to sell the gto and 911 at the minute to get a testarossa, but at the minute the Z is the fave!
  7. How are ya! Im digging around behind the dash at the minute, it would help if I knew what I was looking for though. Any pics of your Z, email me kersh911@hotmail.com Cheers.
  8. Ok, someone give me directions to remove the old one  , and where will I get a new one, bearing in mind im in Ireland, cheers for the replies,
  9. The car has a little toggle switch on the side of the instrument cluster, that if I flick it swithches the speedo to kmh.
  10. A little bell comes on at 120mph, but its not limited. Where is this located so I can have a look? Thanks for replies....
  11. Really...why is the Hicas related to the speedo? What should I be looking for on the speedo...sometimes when it wasnt working it jumps...
  12. Hi, Got up this morning, got out to the car, immediately I noticed the power steering was very heavy. After about 10 minutes the Hicas light came on, but the steering had lightened up a bit. I also noticed that the speedo wasnt working. It started working after half an hour. I stopped for petrol, and on start up the power steering was fine for 2 minutes, then it got heavy again. Any Ideas on where I should start looking? Thanks, :(
  13. Yes, they were quite lovely. I assume they were tts.
  14. 3 wide arch pearl painted 300zx, with lots of graphics, driving line astern down the naas road, up the m50, and onto the m1. All 3 had N.i. plates as far as I could see. Is it anyone on here. (they looked like race/drift cars).
  15. I have a 1980 911sc and a 300zx tt (and gto but we wont mention that), the z is definitely quicker than the 911, and I dont think a 944 turbo is quicker than a 911. The gto is n/a so I cant compare. But anyway , the z is not much quicker, just punchier.
  16. Nirvana - Lounge act. Pixies - Into the white. Alice in Chains - Junkhead.
  17. Last week, numerous times. Is it anyone on here??? Another Z in Swords ...yes, yes,
  18. Happy Christmas all.. Anyway, when I start my 90 zx tt up, the boost needle sits on the 1st thick line(2nd line altogether) on the boost gauge. (Jap gauge, -7, a thin line, a thick line, 0, a thick line, a thin line, to +7). Is this right. When warmed up it sits slightly closer to the -7. Do I have a problem? Is it a sign of impending turbo doom? Thanks, Kersh.
  19. Hi, When I joined up last month, Am I supposed to be waiting on a membership no. or intro pack or something, cos I didnt receive anything...

  21. I have raced all the tracks in the UK, and Silverstone looks like the best for the Z. Pity about the views though. Snetterton would be good, but I suspect that its too out of the way for most.Oulton is very tight, and quite challenging, How about Pembrey in Wales? Racing dates permitting next year, count me in. Ill go..... :hyper: :hyper: Kersh.
  22. Its a toad c4 alarm, I just bought the car, and I wouldn be confident messing with the alarm setup. But if its easy then Ill try, as the A pillar pods are nice. So i need an electric boost gauge for an electronic boost controller, right? Sorry for the questions, but the road will be long and winding, modifying this thing...... :D
  23. Am I right in saying that if I fit an A pillar pod, it will affect the alarm setup, as the sensor points up the A pillar? Also, what is the difference between an electronic boost gauge and a mechanical? Is one more reliable than the other? Is one more difficult to connect up? thanks, Kersh.
