Very Squeaky Wiper Arm Motor - Nissan Micra
Thanks. It will probably be obvious when I remove it but which parts should I be dismantling? I assume not the motor with it's coils etc.

Very Squeaky Wiper Arm Motor - Nissan Micra
Hi Chaps, My wife's 1997 Micra has an incredibly noisy wiper arm motor which is driving us mad, especially with the never ending rain! Attached is a you tube link (by another sufferer) of how bad it is. I have tried WD40 etc. but to no avail. Any ideas? Is it easy to fix or do I need a replacement motor? Any advice much appreciated. Thanks.

Gone but not forgotten
Sold my Z at the weekend and it was driven away this evening. Feeling sad...after all, I had the pleasure of her company for 3 years. :-( Now looking for a clean Twin Turbo!

Mercedes E class
Had the W210 and engineering wise it was fantastic. 186,000 faultless miles by the time it left me. Serious rust issues though. The W211 has no body problems as far as I'm aware.

Failed MOT on anti roll bar link
I had the same problem. Dealer part only, but fairly cheap from memory (£15). Labour was around £20 so must be very easy as usually they sc*** you for the most simplest things.

Advice Urgently Required - Can this be for real?
Hi all, My Z is currently for sale and I have received the following this morning: Thanks for your response..I'm quite satisfied with the condition and price, and I need you to understand that i am willing and ready to purchase it right away, end the advert, consider me as your favorite buyer.I will be paying the PayPal charges from my account and will be paying directly into your PayPal account without any delay, and I hope you have a paypal account. If you have one already, just send me the address to send it to, which is the email address you use for it or you can send me a paypal money request, so once i receive the details i will go ahead with the payment through PayPal and then I will contact my shipping company after you get the payment. I will need your home address for it to be Picked Up by the Shipping Company. Thing is, this person hasn't even seen the car! Any idea what's going on here or what I should do? Sounds extremely dodgy... Thanks, Shamaz

whos recently had an mot
Had mine 2 weeks ago and passed with HIDs no problem. Had them on for 3 MOTs now. It did however fail on the colour of the sidelights, despite passing for the last 2 years. He reckoned it looked a little blue (white leds) but I didn't want to argue so replaced them with my old bulbs. The sidelights now look horribly yellow, especially against my white HIDs!

Original wheels
From a design perspective, it's notable that the wheel design did not change throughout the entire manufacturing life of the Z32. Normally, wheels are the first thing manufacturers change. I think that says everything.

Help needed membury services?!!!
Hi guys, My Z has started to make that typical fan belt slipping sound (mostly when starting the car and setting off) so looks like I will probably need to get this replaced. Is there a way of confirming it's definitely the belt? Is this something a typical garage can do and how big is the job compared to a normal car? Also, where's the best place to get a new belt? All advice much appreciated. Shamaz

Nissan dependability - started first time !!!
Nissans are the most reliable cars in the world. My Z is as reliable as my wife's Micra, and I'm sure the GT-R is no different.

I'm back in Jap!!!
Always liked the look of them. Pity the ones since became ugly.

HD ready and full HD difference
Avatar is probably one of the few films that are worth the highest resolution possible and largest screen. It is truly a visual feast.

HD ready and full HD difference
BTW, it's the same thing with digital camera MP. There is no way that the human eye can tell the difference between 10MP and 24MP, yet the manufacturers keep on increasing the MP count to sell new cameras. I have a 12MP, but to be honest, my old 4MP takes better pictures! The excuse for larger MP is that you can now make even larger high quality enlargements...how many of us want to print A1 sized posters?

HD ready and full HD difference
Although I agree that there is little point is buying a HD ready set these days as virtually all sets are now full HD, the reality is that telling the difference between a 720p movie and a 1080p movie is very difficult and I would suggest that it's more a marketing ploy. As an experiment, I downloaded movies in both formats (several different official trailers) and although the file sizes were understandably much larger for the 1080p, I could not tell the difference...certainly on a 42" screen. It may make a difference on a 60", but I am skeptical about even a 50". I would certainly be confident to say that you will not notice anything on a 42" and below. You can easily prove the point by downloading official movie trailers at the different resolutions.

350z
I think the key difference is that the 300 was first released in 1989 where as the 350 came along 14 years later in 2003. Purely from an engineering and human evolution perspective, you would expect some improvement, and there certainly are, even if they are limited due to Nissan's financial position at the time. The 350 was developed within a certain budget, where as the 300 was designed to be the best at the time (within reason of course). The 350 will therefore be far more comfortable and economical, and should be a much nicer car to drive on a day-day basis. It will also have newer features and some useful gadgets that simply were not around in 1989. For me the biggest issue is the fact it's a 2-seater (as is the 370). For that reason, I'll stick to the 300.

Very sad news.....
That is very sad mate and I wish you all the best. RIP.

350z
Very nice cars. My own problem is that it's a 2-seater which is no good for me. Unfortunately there aren't many 2+2s, which is what makes the Z32 unique.

Going through hell
Steve - that is so so sad and wish you and the family all the best. Losing a child is possibly the worst thing that can happen to anyone and I pray that Maisie is at peace.

Going through hell
Sorry to hear that Steve and all the best. I pray all will be well soon.

Has anyone driven to Switzerland in late December?
Croeso - an absolutely superb response and very informative. I will certainly be in touch for any questions.
