  1. Replacement card was waiting for me when I got back in the country. Cheers ... all looks good. :)
  2. I put a braided line from master to slave and replaced both cylinders after many attempts at bleeding. Now sorted and really happy with it. I fitted the RPS max so had to have absolutly no air in it to work properly.
  3. Mines staying and is used pretty much everyday, can't wait for the summer to get the tops off again
  4. Yay! All sorted. Got a second key done while at it. Was told its common on Nissan keys as the key is cut deep by the handle end and breaks easy. Must get a remote system in place. Any suggestions? He also said you would probably find the key opens a few Subaru doors as well! ..Scary :shock:

  6. Cheers Ian, Mine's a UK one so If I can get in I'll have a look. My only key wasn't original and have been meaning to get another cut but havent had it long and just spent a few thousand sorting everything out and has been with a mechanic for 3 months. Only driven it for two weeks since getting it back!!
  7. I haven't managed to get the door open yet. I'll try again later. Its only snapped in one place, I was hoping to maybe get something in there to ease it out. Cheers Paul, I'll get back to you on that one. Can they really be opened by other nissan keys?
  8. Aaaaaarh! Went out to my car this morning to go to work put key in lock, turned it and the sodding key snapped off in the lock. I've not tried to get the key out yet, but I need to know my options especially as it was my only key :headvswal:mad:

  10. Id rather pay over the odds for something I can look at as mine than see my money I pay in tax go to some of the benefit cheats and bankers bonuses over here lol
  11. I was told I had one when I had my clutch changed, a line runs to where the diff cooler is at the back. Mine is a UK spec manual though

  13. Apart from getting it through an MOT because of HICAS joints and rear inner sill runs as good as the 350z I had before it.

  16. The other item I replaced was the gearbox mount with a better Nismo one

  18. I'm having the RPS max clutch installed with RPS flywheel at the moment and J1mmytt has covered everything. I've learnt the hard way with the higher hydraulic pressure and awaiting on a new master cylinder from Japan as there aren't any over here (3 week wait!!) Slave cylinder was full of crap, so thats replaced and I have a guy from HoseSolutions.co.uk making me up a braided line from master to slave as my mechanic has had a nightmare trying to bleed it. I just hope its not going to be a pain for normal driving, if it is i'll kick myself for not going for the carbon carbon
  19. Its everywhere! had it a month ago before going on holiday, cleared up, went on holiday, flew back and got it again!! Screwed up my second week off work, was planning to do some work on the zed!
  20. Cheers people :) decided the next move is a new master cylinder and braided line from master to slave. I should of paid the extra and got the carbon clutch! :headvswal
  21. I'll ask him Paul, he'll love to take that gearbox off again :)
  22. I'll ask him tomorrow if he's adjusted the throw at the master cylinder, I didn't know there was adjustment there! He said he's adjusted the rod on the clutch pedal, I think he's going to try and back off the switches as it says in the link Smithy provided. Has everyone who has the RPS Max clutch had to adjust both for full throw?
  23. It all went together ok, had the uprated pivot ball too and before changing it the clutch was silky smooth appart from it slipping under load. The fork must still be ok
  24. Yep, its been bled from all locations in the correct order aparently
