  1. Do I detect a note of cynucism :slap: Covert Policing all fall under the same rules of national and international Law. A covert Police car is the same as putting hidden cameras and bugging devices up, in a place of work, public building or in your home or Hotel room. ie thats why there must be signs up anywhere where static or mobile speed cameras are used. These all have to have a clearly visable public notice to state you are being filmed, recorded or monitered. Unless it is part of an investigation and a High court order has been granted. These can only be granted on the basis of national security or national safety interest. Which before some bright spark says speeding is a danger to the public and therefore deemed worthy of covert policing. They still cannot use it without a High Court Judge deeming it is. Then a High court Order must be issued for each specific case and the reasons must be able to hold water in the European Courts in Strasburge, The Hage or United nations Court in Washington (or is it New York, not sure on that) However having a winge at the copper who is doing what he's been told to do by his boss will proberbly jog his mind to do you for a shed load of sh1t that don't exist or he wasn't looking for in the first place, Because contry to belief they are humans just doing a job and like the rest of us find our daily job and the grief from management and punters a pain in the ass. So I say lets give all Police officers a warm hand :hurl: well at least a finger or two.
  2. Unmarked police cars are an infringement of you human rights and anyone who is given a ticket or entrapped by one should imediately apeal to the European Court of Human rights. I garentee and charges will be dropped. Unmarked Police cars are only legitimately used for observation in Criminal investigation by CID. Although they could observe you they cannot pull and any equipement used to record your speed in a unmarked car is deemed as covert Policing for which there are very stringent laws. For obvious reasons. Don't believe me?? Check it out. you'll find its true and even most of the officers driving these cars don't know that there infringing Human Rights Law which superceeds all national law.
  3. Yep I agree with that. I don't understand why they put it on. Every moded Z and skyline I've seen has got an elliminator on. P.S. By the way I have a unussed S.E. Hicas eliminator for sale if anyone wants one.
  4. you know Mat and his brother then? Is Jody still there? The best track I've been to is defo Glan-y-Gors halfway between the Bala lights and Betesy-Coed on the A5. Its a full FIA job, but they do have a 400 enduro race every week. You must have a team of four. Some of those 400 4strokes are pulling 40 ish bhp
  5. No it just feels far more possitive and less wooly. You feel like your sure about whats going on. Mind you I got rid of the Hicas at the same time so how much that has to do with it I'm not sure. I had some hangkook 104s tyre on the last set of wheels I bought and they gave a lot of vibration and road noise even though they gripped well in the wet. As soon as I put Bridgestones on it was smooth and if there ever was any road noise the exhaust drowns it out. :D
  6. Nothing wrong with a Volvo Mate. I always have a T5 volvo. Got a C70 at mo, but going to get another V70 later on. With the Rica chip the old T5 pushes 320bhp so I can live with it.
  7. It depends how far you want to go. If you look at my rides section you'll see I've done about as much as you can suspension wise, but it doesn't come cheep. Changing the bushes to poly bushes is proberbly the most costly and gives the biggest results.
  8. So thats £114 for six? + I take it that they are irridium. If so i my give em a wiz nextime and see what I think. I'm sure there's more science to it than I apply, but if you check your plugs regularly you can tell from the colour of the plug if the car is running hotter or cooler. Hotter plug helps if the burn colour is a tad richer (cooler) and vice versa I think __________________
  9. Sorry you sold the Z. Why a beemer though when there are so many tasty options out there that have anonymity and enough umph to put the M3 to bed.
  10. Well i've decided that when this engine of mine blows as I'm sure it will at some stage. Then I'm going 5.5ltr small block Ford with supercharger. 600ish BHP, reliable, lighter, smaller, easier to work on, cheaper parts and a sound track to die for.
  11. That small block ford or the small block Chevy? Anyway both are way smaller than the standard Nissan lump and sit way down in engine bay so I recon they'd still be about 3in clearance. to be honest its the future.
  12. WHY???? It's proberbly just me, but I really don't like Beemers. I think its because most of the people I've met that own them arn't nice. I should know I bought my wife a 3 series, then a 5 series and the last one was a 47K 7 series and she suddenly started thinking she was someone important. Which I think is sad, but most of the owners i've met, especially young guys and young women in new and newish 3 series are obnoxious gits. Sorry.
  13. How much are they Chris? + what heat rating do they do?
  14. You fibber. I know for a fact you've got a full lenght mirror in your bathroom   besides your not that fat yet. Seriously though your not wrong mate. Anything to do with these cars takes ten times longer than any other car I've ever had.
  15. I have Blitz springs and KONI ajustables (Street Pro). Personally I don't rate KYB, but when I can aford I'll go for the Tein Coil over Set up with the servo's on so you can ajust and tune your suspension to the driving conditions. (Whilst driving) Rock hard for track days, a mid setting for A road whoring and a softer setting for round town. + The quality of the Tein products are awesome. At £1,300 for the setup you'd expect it to be good and everyone I know whos got it says its really really good.
  16. I'd go for some HKS S40i's. They aint cheep as the are irridium, but only need changing every 60k + the are recomended by Nissan when running higher than standard bost.
  17. All above + new wiper arms front scuttle pans (bits of plastic that the wiper brackets fit through and that mate up to windscrean) and New wheels.
  18. My Turbos worked well up to 130,000. Then one went big style hence complete engine replacement with upgraded lump and roller bearing T28's. So you got a while to go yet. Just change the oil frequently.
  19. Chris i thought you'd be happy that people know our true feelings. You gorgeous hunk   No worries bro I'll let you know and beg a lift.
  20. My little baby is running for the first time in about 2 years and one off the coil packs is a bit naff. Anyone got a good coil pack ASAP. Cheers
  21. No worries. I expect a lift in that new wide arse of yours. He gave up smoking and has become a real fat *******.+ were very close
  22. A While!!!?? Its not a while Leigh it an age. They've moved on from punk rock, or so I hear. Young man?? Chunk are you trying to butter me up? I'm 46 next mate, but still goimg on 16.
  23. Fook Chris have you been at those mushrooms again :wack: :wack:   We do speek English in Darkest wales. Even us Yorkies that got stranded here.
  24. My car is running and raring to go at last   :nana2: :nana2:  :nana2: :nana2:
