Right, and where do I find the ECU? :)

Is there any quick and easy way to tell if the ECU has been modded? Im thinking of getting this done as it would then take car to a stage 3. Thing is I think it may be done already. Im running 9 or 11psi (I think its 11psi) and its quick as hell, but would like to know if its been chipped or chipping owuld give me even more. Ta

I thought depending on the load you may need a small relay. if you try and take a lot of juice from the std +ve you may trip a fuse.

I let this thing warm up before I go over 2.5k, no boost until engine is warm (midway on temp gauge). IF your doing a short trip though and technically dont go into boost - do you still need to run it for a minute or two to let turbos cool down. The whole cooling down thing worries me coz im not sure whether to run car for 1 or 3 minutes after a drive. As is I sit in it now while me other half goes in for a cuppa. I do NOT wanna kill these turbos as there's no smoke from em and they seem mint.

yeah, just been out for a blat, oil pressure when warm got to 5-10psi at stading up to 25 psi (all on the stock gauge) when doing about 80 in 3rd. 10 mins later its reading 30psi at standing and about 60psi at 50mph in 3rd. :confused:

so, would the blitz induction kit give me noticeable increase in power?

I have one of these I took of my supe. Does anyone know which wire I use from the ECU for the speed sensor? and where to find it :) I didnt use the turbo timer for the reason of running the engine coz I thought some little dickhead would see the car running and try and nick it. I only used ot for the 0-60 0-100 speed runs etc. I may wire it up properly for the zed though

I got HKS stainless on mine but have been offered some 5 SEIGER? Back boxes. These look too have a bigger bore so probably will be louder - which is a good thing :D Has anyone heard of these before and if so how much would be a good price to pay for the 2 back boxes? Cheers

Hi all - now the supe was nice and easy - pop the bonnet and you can see the air filter cone induction kit. Where the hell is it on my zed? it seems to be in front of the rad? do I have to take the panel off between the lights? IF I need to get on do I order 1 or 2 kits - Ive seen the blitz induction kit on Z Centre for 140. Would I need 2 of these? Cheers

my power steering is too heavy, I had another Zed owner try. He has told me to check the fuse in the drivers side kickpanel. Now some numpty has taken out the fuse puller so which fuse do I need to get my pliers on? Is it the 15A EPS HICAS? Cheers or is it located somewhere else?

Im thinkin gof having the cars interior re-leathered. Its leather seats etc at moment in black but they are looking tired. Has anyone had them redone. I was thinking of going for a red and black scheme, i.e. bottom half would be red leather, top of dash and doors is black still. Whaddya think - tacky or not? My Girlfiriend says red would make it look too tacky. Anyone done this with pics? Any ideas on a price I should pay?

Is it ok for the oil pressure to sit at 90(ish)psi when engine is cold?

Does anyone kmnow the price of the front stereo surround. IT houses the 2 top vents and clock. A Breaker wants 45 quid for it tell me thats too much
