Time to move on for me...Was looking at another 300 but ended up getting its big brother.. TBH - I wanted a black 350Z Coupe, but the minute I saw and drove this I had to have it..sounds incredible. Like the colour also, bit classier :) Its the GT Spec. So with this I bid you all farewell...for now..and wish you all the best. Jay

Hi, Cheers :) Sold my Zed... Lots of little things were niggling me with it...I wanted to spend some serious money on it (Which I didnt have).. Hopefully, once I sort my money I am looking at getting another 300 or 350z next (or even dare I say a MkIV Supra). I loved my Zed and deeply regret selling it...I'd love another like it - Zelda?!? :) hmmmm Just keeping my eyes open...

Hi Martin and all :) long time... keep noseing around on here, to see if its back on... Wish I'd never sold her :( Missing it now...Know how you feel when the guy drove it away from me...knew instantly I had done the wrong thing...put so much work into interior and tidying etc. The noise of it driving away still haunts me to this day....

I watched my zed leave, watching someone drive your pride and joy of the last 5 years off left me absolutely gutted. A small tear and some deep breaths and I feel like I've made a huge mistake.... I cant believe the way I felt watching my car go. Such a unique car I know I'll never have again, anyway... blub over and a new brummie owner now has my car. I pointed him to this group but I dont think hes the "internet" type. I got some parts I'm gonna post up on here over next week or so as I get them out of the shed, but I just wanna thank people here for the help over last 5 years. to finish off the night, Ive no beer to drown my sorrows but theres a bottle of whisky smiling at me........

Thought I'd post this in the non z related obviously.... Gone to the dark (diesel) side.... Picked it up today - love it for refinements, comfort and style - does lack the power of the zed tho but 50mpg and tax of £110 per year....

Hi Is it illegal to sell a clocked car? Went to look at a bmw - 85K on clock with full bmw service history. Lad selling it wasnt on V5 as he just bought it and couldnt afford insurance (he got out of a new golf gti!?!!?!) HPI Check revealed it was last serviced in december at 200K!!!!! Its still on autotrader (or was first thing this morning).

Lol, dont matter anyway now.... Looked at an Audi A3 TDI with 85K on clock for £1900 - "W" Reg Car "looked" pretty sound apart form scuffs and general poor paintwork which I could forgive for the price... young chap selling, asked what seat covers were hiding - nothing.... until I pulled it off and noticed passenger airbag had exploded... then told car was in a side impact but it was sorted and never reported!.... To top it off I then noticed mileometer was @ 180K Been told even tho car had done this he replaced the engine with an 85K'er so thats what the car is now... Timewasting Idiots

Going to look at a car soon, thinking of using http://www.mycarcheck.com for a £4.95 check to make sure its not been written off etc. However, cant see anywhere on the check it does a finance cleared check Anyone know a good website (cheap like a fiver) where you can obtain insurance write offs and finance checks etc.. The cars only worth £1500 so dont wanna spend silly money but wanna be sure Im not gonna lose it if I buy it ta

yea, thought of Alfa's and bmw 330's, pretty much been through all cars but for some reason just like the a3. had a E46 320d before which was a fantastic car, spose depends on what comes up at the right price now...

yea, the large grille 2005 models are real nice. Im trying so hard to like the 320td compact but the front lights are just pig ugly :( rest of car aint too bad. All depends on sale of my zed I spose.

However,.... could do a straight swap for my zed for your bmw :) I'd even chuck in a mars bar as a sweetner....

Wanting the 1999 sort of model, prefer newer (2004 facelift?) but dont think funds will make a new shape, not unless its done silly miles... Would love your bmw, but unfortunately about 5 grand short :)

Cheers, dont recognise them, I got the rear hicas disabler on the rear and on the front I have rose jointed adjustables. deff not got what in the picture on. the front wheels need adjusting too, but the back are wearing down shockingly quick on the inside. Sorry but Im not in the slightest bit familiar with suspension etc I know I have yellow shocks though :)

Afternoon Just tryin to find someone to mot my zed, but the back tyres are always bald on the inside. Garage told me he can only adjust camber etc if I give him all the settings. He also said : 1. Its modified so he needs to know what suspension has been lowered. 2. Its got spacers on rears.... this will affect it 3. Not standard wheel widths.... He says nobody can even begin to look at it until they get all the settings for my complete setup. Another garage pretty much said same, cant keep replacing back tyres every 1000 miles. Anyone know anyone local (Sheffield) who has adjusted a modified car... Also any decent mot centres about.... Just rung 6 and all too busy... ta

yep import the lot, then if your brave click on the spanner and personal stuff and select sync whenever you goto another pc if you run up chrome it'll have all your passwords, history etc.

Gonna respray my scuttle panels - theyre in pretty good nick but starting to fade slightly, after rubbing down I got some Plastikote spray, (got some undercoat too). However.... I have black and the original colour is a dark grey. Do you think the black will look or or just make everything too black, I sorta think it needs the grey to break things up I cant find any grey plastikote at local merchants but can prob source somewhere.

Chrome all the way now, Fantastic! Also can sync everything to any other browser so you have access at work, home or wherever over multiple computers.
