No I am not into religion or spiritualism of any kind, I am a true believer in science however I do find the subject quite fascinating hence I may come across as swinging towards both sides in my posts. I am not being argumentative here, you know a lot more than I do and I actually enjoy learning more about it. Religion from a historical point of view is very interesting especially if your looking at it from a neutral position. As far as traditional religions go, I find it beggars belief that some people in effect waste their lives dedicating it to no more than mythology and superstition, its like these people that dedicate their whole lives to building a shrine to star wars and learning every line from every film. I have worked with a lot of catholics and i must stress that the younger generations are more reasonable about it but some of the older ones are still very predudice and look at non catholics as evil heritics that should be burnt alive. Some even speak with fondness of the good old days when it was acceptable for nuns to whip their fanatical beliefs into small children in catholic schools. What makes them so sure they are right and everyone else is wrong? Nobody can deny that religion had been a tool over the centuries to make a hell of a lot of money and keep the lower classes fixed firmly in their place. i dont feel religion and science can live together, for centuries religions only answer to anything it does not like for example scientific discovery or the discovery of ancient scriptures has been delt with by sticking their fingers in their ears and refusing to even consider it. Science may not have all the proof but religion has absolutely none! Ancient texts written by men not gods, provide no evidence of anything whatsoever.

But there was a time when we thought the world was flat or the universe revolved around the earth but we now understand these things. I accept that there are still many things we cannot understand but we are now a hell of a lot more knowledgable and do not need some magical myths to cling to. People of old needed to shake a shrunken head on a stick, dance round the totem pole or say hail marys because they were scared and brainwashed by the various penalties of being a non believer. The human race should have moved on from that now.

I dont believe, I think its people who want to believe who are convincing themselves.. BUT if there is some truth in it and some examples like Fridays are quite convincing then I would steer clear, its a twisted un-natural thing that certainly shouldnt be dabbled with...

the knack is never disclose when you make a purchase for the car, when its eventually noticed say youve had it ages and it cost £50.. a bit like this "Whats that thing there?" I remember the good old days when I was 17 and passed my test, you could take your girlfriend to a quiet car park for some privacy and you didnt come away with your car looking like a plasterers radio..:D

It went to Denmark bud. I got a 3dr 'big fin' cosworth now, Im building a Mk1 escort (cosworth powered too) I got a couple of good pay rises coming and my mortgage finishes in one and a half years so Im open to suggestions of what to get next LOL...

OK i generally get games off ebay for my mum, yes my mum, sixty odd year old and loves games. But I tend to like games that involve driving or killing and im really out of touch with the type of stuff she likes (Spyro, crash bandicoot, rayman etc etc) the platform type stuff, can anyone reccomend some PS2 games she would like.

The problem you have is that you need to look at the type of person that will be in the market for a 300, they have all seen what they sell for and have an idea of what they want and can afford to pay. How many people come on here asking for a mint UK z wanting to spend 3K. I dont think anyone in the market for one will look at yours and say great I will go and take another spare 7k out of the bank and buy this because of the extras. Ask yourself would you pay 30k instead of 12k for a second hand 350 just because it had loads of extras or would you want the 12k one and mess around with it yourself (which is half the fun). This isnt an insult mate I know your Z is worth that all day long but speaking from experience selling the fridge everyone is saying OMG thats a bargain, well worthi it, if only i was looking for one etc but nobody actually puts their money where their mouth is. And I know how painfull you will find it selling something you have lovingly turned into exactly what you wanted. You could always advertise it and stick to your price but be prepared for a thousand stupid emails from people wanting to PX you for M3 replicas etc. Anyway with your money you could buy us all a 350 ;)

just a word of warning, my ex missus went into the back of someone a few years ago, I was gonna settle up myself but it was gonna cost a lot more than we thought so we ended up going through the insurance. Then over two years later we got a letter from one of those scumbag claims r us companies, he had probably been stopped in the shopping centre by some mickey mouse solicitor after a fast buck hence the usual fake whiplash claim.. I had to send off the insurance details and they sorted it out but if I hadnt gone through the insurance then it would have been us that were sued. I guess if u do settle up still ring the insurance and tell them it was a minor graze and there will be no claim, then if he does try the whiplash thing in a couple of years then at least your safe...

There was another 300zx in the corner near the trade stand for sale, thats what he was on about. Has someone stole your dummy or something! chill man chill.
