Whats the damage Paul including p&p to Leyland ?

Does anyone know for certain if the TT alternator is the same as the NA ? I have found some used ones advertised but they say that they are TT only ? Appreciate any advice. My bearings are on the way out:mad: Thanks Guys.

Anybody got a good alternator for sale ? Bearings very noisy in mine and rip-off garage just quoted £230 to put new bearings in :rofl: Also wanted £180 to recharge my air-con cos they reckoned they had to convert to take new type charge ! Got it done for £55 by a mobile guy half an hour later so fook em:tongue: Thanks guys Maz. By the way ,subscribed the other day so dont feel guilty asking for help anymore :dance:

Hi turbOz, That was me by Booze Brothers. I work in Rimmers so had popped in on my day off for summat or another. Pity I missed you cos I did e-mail you a few weeks ago when I bought my Z !! I need a few jobs doing and need a recommendation as I dont want to trust her to my usual garage.Simple stuff like a noisy alternator which you probably heard but I just have not got time to do myself and also struggle to get under !Need an oil change and decat as well ? Yep buddy that was me .I'm sure I'll spot you one day and your Dads is definately gonna stand out.:) The PTU by the way sends power to the coil packs.If PTU is dodgy,so is spark,so not proper combustion.Only thing I can think of now.Anyway thanks for replying.Appreciate it. Cheers Buddy.Maz.

Hi Guys and Gals, I'm hoping you experts out there can help me ? This is my first cry for help by the way.I've managed to cure both the error codes I had (13 and of course 34) but every time I give her a bit of toe even briefly the cat light comes on even on overrun.Can feel no misfire but does seem a bit less power.I have stopped and taken each coil pack off on tickover and every one firing o.k. Can anyone suggest anything please ? Starting to really pee me off. TPS voltage perfect but tickover slightly high(850)and cant get base idle any lower. N/A Auto by the way 1989 import approx 45,000 on clock.Sorry for long thread but trying to get as much over to you experts as poss.Thanks for any help Guys and Gals.X

Sorry to pile the misery on but mine is £176 comp. with SAGA. There are some good things about being an old git but not very many ! Swap u my premium for your age !
