yeh agree with 1st pic,cig lighter socket.

from what ive heard and learnt id say 21.9psi is plenty good,the wise people here say 1 bar is plenty on stock tubos,mine at max boost is 1.1bar,if your engine internals are standard i dont think it'l last long,or the turbos !!

Hicas light comes on after aprox 10-15 min of motorway driving.Have checked and topped up power steering fluid but still happening.At low speeds,town work it stays off. Has anyone any ideas please.

can someone tell me,is this the reason for the Hicas light coming on at higher speeds,low speeds like town work no light.

Dont know what it is but recently changed heater matrix,its from the dash,fits under instrument cluster dash top and there's a white plug from loom that fits it.

No soot on bumper,my pipes about 2" proud but slighty sooty end pipes as Andy said.

Im not sure as im new here but noticed mines a little rich untill warmed up,party cold running settings and the set up i have i would imagine.

Im 49 and its my first Z, well you have to start somewhere (have had sports car before)

With modern oils you dont need to warm engine up,i drive mine gently at first and as temp builds then normal driving,and of course when fully up to temp foot hard down !!

Mine would be a GT40

Thx Legarth,Ahhh,called amplifier in manual,yes had the dash out,was carefull to connect sensors and relocate them,maybe i jammed the levers on replacement of air box but was carefull.Would there be a grounding wire that i may have missed.

I didnt disconnect the ecu,only the amplifier box and have checked these plugs.

After fitting a new heater matrix the car seemed fine the other night.Last night needed to clear winscreen but nothing ! Get heat from front vent/foot vents but not for windscreen ! Any ideas anybody.

I hope so as i used it for the heater matrix hoses so they would slip on easy and they did !!
