i thought it worked it out by rpm and speed,if speed down at specific rpm then wheels slipping.Where is speed taken from,gearbox ?

This may sound a stupid question,why sensor's on front wheels,surely you only need to control the slip on the driven wheels,ie.rear wheels.

Sounds like fuel pump to me,i can here a whirring niose from rear of car when ticking over which is the pump.

Fitted a Carbing front brace,read all about them but very suprised how much stiffer the front end feels and more feedback through the steering,i would recommend it !!

Would have loved to come but was in Isle of Man,hope to be at next meet.

I dissacree,if an engine is set up correctly then it should be ok. It will always be the weakest link that goes eg,con rods. Of course the engine will wear quicker as your putting more load through it but how often do you drive at full throttle,not very. Better cooling is required,intercoolers,engine oil,gearbox oil but not everyone remembers all this and then you get proplems. Thats my experience from uprating cars,knowing the limits and not going beyond them.

Mine was £737,ok i have 3 points and modified jap tt,from Adrian Flux,that is like for like and break down as well.

Dose anybody know tyre pressures(p.s.i or bar) for 235.45.17 front and 255.40.17 rear. Have checked hand book and on car,cant find.

Im no expert but suggest you put some oil in,engine would get hot if very low on oil.as it hepls cooling as well. I think your right about the water hissing/leak........can you see any damaged pipes from heater matrix or turbo water pipe. Is it possible to run it up on drive keeping close look for oil leaks,find out where its coming from.

Thanks stricker,im sure its disabled when light on,may fit disable kit at some stage,just want to make sure its reliable,bought end of March,didnt realy want modified but its in such good nik.Seems to run good,sounds what id call a sweet engine when on tick over,if you get my drift. Hope to meet up with some of you soon.
